"He's here! I know he is!"

"No, Hoseok. Maybe you've misheard-"

"I have full faith in my ears!" Jin could only sigh at his friend of two years. Hoseok was still searching for the president and he wasn't stopping anytime soon. Determination was his strength and right now, Jin wished it wasn't.

"Surely, you would have met him by now. If not for your powers then by meeting everyone who stepped foot in this park-"

"I will meet him, I'm not... giving... up- is that Y/N and Jungkook?" Raising a brow, the purple haired hero turned around while sitting at a picnic table and saw with wide eyes at the sight before him.

"What on earth..." you were currently holding hands with the brunette while walking towards the picnic area of the park. You were smiling widely and so was Jungkook, you two looked like newly weds coming back from your long awaited honeymoon.

"Oooooooo! And the plot thickens!" The red haired exclaimed before throwing his unfinished food behind him, knowing fully well that his luck would take care of it and make it land in a nearby bin. Jin heard the other stand up and walk past him while making his way over to the two of you, ready to cause drama.

"Hoseok! Come- ugh, damn it!" The plant manipulator had no choice but to chase after the quick, lucky hero who was now only a few steps away from you.

"Y/N! What a coincidence seeing you here- oh? And if it isn't the treasure hunt winner from two days ago!" You chuckled at his 'greeting', knowing that he had only came over to find out about the gossip.

"How is it a coincidence? The festival is still running-"

"Yeah yeah, whatever. So when did you guys start-"

"Hoseok! Did you not hear me?!" Jin interrupted while grabbing his arm to stop his questioning. Switching your gaze to the plant manipulator, memories of him and Namjoon arguing yesterday came back to mind, making you feel uncomfortable at his presence.

"What? I'm just here to congratulate the new couple!" Hoseok explained while displaying his usual grin.

"Couple?" Jin asked before fanning his eyes over the two of you while you made sure to not make eye contact.

"Yes, Y/N and I are dating" Jungkook finally spoke, answering the Eros heroes' question. Both of them widened their eyes, not really believing what they were hearing, especially Jin.

"Wh-wh- pfft, wait. I was only joking around- you guys are dating?!" Deciding to show them, you reached up to kiss Jungkook's cheek before returning back down and showing your intertwined hands.

"Do you believe us now?" And with that, you linked both of your arms before leaving the two Eros heroes to their own thoughts.

"... wait, this is serious... what do we do now, Jin?" Gazing at the two of you walking off, Jin knew something was definitely off.

"... who were they?" Jungkook finally asked, wondering who they were to you specifically.

"They're just Eros heroes. Let's talk about us, okay?" You answered while making him stop and grabbing both of his hands. The younger blushed at your sudden gesture, still not being used to your affectionate gestures.

"... okay" smiling brightly at his response, you were about to lean in for a kiss until he stopped you once again.

After going on the rides with the brunette yesterday, the sky had already became dark and the festival came to a close that day.

You had asked Jungkook if he wanted to come and stay with you at the hotel but he hesitantly refused.

It was already difficult for you to sleep since there was a certain Zeus hero who was always on your mind but also about the way he was pushing you away.

You didn't understand. He had confessed to you and you gave him the answer that the both of you wanted. But he still wasn't happy.

"Is something wrong with-"

"Y/N! Here you are!" A familiar voice and cut you off before you could ask your well intended question.

"Kangjoon? Oh! Sorry, I forgot we were supposed to meet up this morning..." you had received a message late last night from the president about meeting up at the park but your excitement for seeing Jungkook had made you forget.

"It's alright, I was worried you were going to be alone but clearly I had nothing to worry about" the leader of the hero council stated while gesturing to Jungkook and his hands in yours.

The copy hero didn't have any personal thoughts about Kangjoon except that he was a close friend of yours who was always around you during the festival.

"Sorry for worrying you" you apologised before returning to holding hands with your 'boyfriend'.

Intrigued, Kangjoon switched his gaze back and forth between the two of you before chuckling.

"... I get it. You two love birds can spend some more time together and without me. I'll take this time to experience everything else on my own"

"... is that okay? I know this is all of a sudden-"

"It's no problem. Now go, the sun isn't going to stay up all day" the future sighter smiled before pushing the two of you away.

"Thank you!" You shouted while waving before returning to talking to Jungkook.

Kangjoon's smile quickly disappeared as a frown was now in its place.

"Shall I contact his employer, President?" His earpiece turned on and one of the nearby guards, who was watching the whole thing, spoke. Placing his finger on the earpiece to respond, Kangjoon continued to watch the two of you chatting and smiling away without any worries.

"No. I know a hero isn't allowed to be in a relationship but this one won't last a day" he explained before letting go of the button. Stuffing his hands in his pockets, he watched with stern eyes at the Zeus hero who was currently buying you candy floss.

"... I'll let you have your day of fun, Jeon Jungkook"
