"T-thanks... it means a lot to hear you say that" he stuttered while scratching the back of his head bashfully.

"I wish you could do another performance like that so that I can record it this time" you were going to have a word with yourself later about forgetting your phone, especially on a day like this.

"Maybe next time, I would rather partake in the activities with you guys" you had met up with Jimin back stage after Kangjoon had to leave for an important call. Jungkook and Taehyung decided to go and participate in the eating challenge, thankful that their trainer wasn't there to stop them from doing so.

"You're right! Let's go find the others and ask what shall we do-"

"I can't today, sorry. I have to meet up with someone but, tomorrow I'll make sure to do something with you guys" suddenly, Jin's words came to mind. Is he going to meet up with the man in secret?

"Oh... Jimin, if you're feeling down or if you need someone to talk to, you know I'm here for you...right?" Furrowing his brows, he stopped tying his shoes before looking up at you.

"...why? What's wrong?"

"Oh, nothing! It's just I was worried about you for the past week, not sure if what I did for you in getting experience helped much" you were grateful once again for your quick thinking.

"You don't have to worry about me, Y/N" standing up after tying his laces, Jimin looked down at you seriously while grabbing your shoulders.

"You have helped me so much and I'm grateful. But, I need to start making my own steps forward" giving an unsure smile, you examined his eyes to see if he was truly alright.

"...okay, if you say so. I'll see you tomorrow, oka-" you were cut off as the other pulled you into a hug, his head laying on your shoulder and his arms around your shoulders.

"Thank you... I truly mean it" speechless, you didn't have time to hug back as he let go and gave you one last smile before grabbing his bag and walking off. You blinked in confusion, wondering what it had meant and if it had an ulterior meaning.

"Y/N!" Turning around almost immediately, you saw Jin coming from the other stage exit. Unsure of how to treat him, you waited for his next actions to unfold first.

"What are you doing back here and by yourself?" You finally took in his new appearance that was meant for for the upcoming evening floats that he would partake in. He wore a white dress shirt that had small roses imprinted at the collar along with red tight pants. His hair was brushed back and overall, he looked handsome, very handsome.

"Checking me out ,aren't we?" Blushing, you shook your head of the thoughts before crossing your arms in an annoyed manner. His teasing tone reminded you of why you were angry at him last week.

"Oh come on, are you still angry? From last week?" He continued on while trying to move in to your view as you turned away. Huffing in annoyance, Jin manipulated the nearby plants to wrap themselves around your waist and lift you in the air slightly.

"Wha- hey! Put me down!"

"Not until you look and talk to me"

"Fine! Just put me down already!" Slowly, the Eros hero lowered you down before making the plants fix your clothes.

"I can do it myself" pushing the plants away, you continued what Jin had wanted them to do.

"You didn't answer my question, why are you here on your own?"

"I was talking to Jimin! There, happy?!" You yelled slightly, annoyed at his nosy behaviour. The purple haired hero rolled his eyes and clicked his tongue knowingly before looking back at you.

"Don't be with him when nobody is around, okay? He could-"

"No! He's not what you think he is and nothing happened when I talked to him just now!" You couldn't understand why the other was being like this, Jimin was the sweetest person you had met and yet, Jin couldn't see that.

"What's going on back here?" Both of you turned to see Hoseok walking through the curtains that separated backstage and the outside. Looking back at Jin who in turn looked at you with a serious expression, you decided to let it go and not make matters worse.

"Nothing, just telling Jin to stop teasing me" the red haired hero knew that something else had happened and that you weren't telling him truth but he shrugged it off as he had urgent news.

"Anyways, guess what I found out! The president of the hero council is apparently here! In the festival!" Your eyes widened at what the lucky hero said. Did he get found already?!

"Wha-what? What do you mean?"

"Well, I was busy buying those really nice churros by the park entrance and I was lucky enough to hear one of the security guards' conversation. He was talking about how the president is safe and enjoying the festival" why is he so damn lucky?!

"Wait, who else knows this?" Jin spoke up.

"Just us three. I really hope I'm lucky enough to meet him, I'm going to go and fi-" Hoseok was about to turn and leave until he was stopped by someone in his way.

"Is Y/N in there?" It was Kangjoon's voice.

"Right here!" You urgently waved him over and he smiled widely after seeing you there.

"I finished my call, we can check out the activities now" he stated while walking over to your side.

"See you guys! I'll tell you if I've seen him around!" You face palmed mentally as he was literally face to face with the president of the hero council just seconds ago.

"Who are your friends?" So far, Kangjoon had enjoyed meeting new people, finding it exciting that there were such a variety of personalities here.

"Oh, the person that just left was Hoseok, he's a hero from Eros. And this is Jin, he's also a hero from Eros. Jin, this is my friend who I'm showing around" even if you didn't feel like talking to Jin right now, you knew it would have been rude to not introduce him.

"Pleasure to meet you, Jin"

"You too. You'll have to excuse me, I need to get ready for the floats" he nodded understandably, moving aside to let the hero through. Before Jin could leave, he looked your way once more.

"... come see me perform later" you simply nodded after a short moment, averting your eyes away from him as you did so. Sighing in defeat, the plant manipulator decided to leave and hoped that you would come and see him later.

"... are you sure he is your friend?"

"Hm? Oh, we're just going through something at the moment..." you trailed off, now annoyed at yourself for not solving the matter sooner than expected.

"Oh- OH! I see... I didn't know you were dating someone-"

"I'm not dating Jin!"

"I'm just teasing!"
