In a city of rust"- Adam Lambert

The car journey from the hotel to where the festival was held, which was in Jungoe park, would only take around twenty minutes to get there."We're close... my hayfever senses are tingling"
"You have hayfever? Why didn't you say so" Kamgjoon reached in to the draws next to him and took out hayfever tablets for you to take.
"This car had draws? Since when?!" You took the tablets without trouble and proceeded to take one before drinking from the water bottle that the car had provided.
"Doesn't your car have draws?"
"I don't even have a car, those things are expensive" you were happy enough to take public transport and the coaches to work since it was what you were used to anyway.
"I can buy one for you, if you would like one that is" you turned to look at him to see if he was being serious or not and to your surprise, he was.
"No no no no. I appreciate it, but I can't let you buy a car for me" the car rounded a corner that lead to the park's parking area (which was filled to the brim) and looked for an available parking spot.
"Why? It's not like I'm short on money-"
"Okay, Kangjoon, listen up. When we go out there, you can't just talk about how much money you have, okay? And don't offer to buy expensive things for strangers because it will make them feel awkward if anything" you watched as his mouth turned in to a frown as he tried to understand what you were saying.
"... I see. I thought that maybe it would have made them happy... thank you for telling me before hand, Y/N"
"Did you just learn something new?" A smirk etched on your face as the memory of your deal returned to your mind.
"... alright, what do you want to know?"
"Hmm... how does it feel like to see the future?" His brows raised in surprise, he was sure that you were going to ask about his past or about the book but instead you were asking about his powers.
"How does it feel? Well, it feels like any other dream and then you wake up... except that it happens again after you wake up" he wondered why you were staring at him so intensely, watching your eyes flicker around his face.
"...really? I think it would feel scary, knowing what's going to happen and then not knowing what to do" surprising him with your response once again, he agreed that it was scary in the beginning.
"I'm sure other people would find it scary too just as they have found it scary when they got their powers"
"I guess you're right, its different for everyone I guess" the car finally found an empty spot in the large busy parking lot and slowed down to a halt after parking.
"Stay" after opening his door and leaving you inside, you watched in confusion as he jogged to your side and opened the door for you.
"You didn't have to open the door for me..." you responded shyly before thanking the driver and leaving the car.
"Don't worry, I only open the doors to the ugly ones" without thinking, you swung your hand at his upper arm as you would normally do for the copy Zeus hero.
"I'm only teasing. You make the best expressions that I have ever seen" you didn't stay angry at him for long as you found his smile adorable.
"... let's just get inside already" walking past him, you made your way to the large archway entrance that had many flowers entangled around it. You were grateful of the hayfever tablets you took before arriving here.
Kangjoon simply smiled at your reaction, finding it refreshing and new to him as he jogged to your side to join you.
"So where to first?"
"Well, the first day is always float day. So we can just walk around and look at the flowers and eat snacks" you listed while trying to get the map of the large park up on your phone.
"Sounds like a calm day" sticking his in Jean pockets, he continued to walk by your side while looking at the beautiful archway.
However, his eyes widened as soon as he entered the park. The many bright colours filled his vision and the sight of people bustling around with food and children running around having fun only made him more excited.
"Woah..."
"I know right? Come on, let's go get some food" you gently grabbed his sleeve and lead him to a nearby food stand that was selling churros.
Kangjoon was still in a daze, making sure that he had taken everything in that he hadn't noticed that you were ordering food for him.
"...hello? Anybody in there?" You watched as he came back to reality and looked at you in confusion as you offered him a churro.
"...what's this?"
"It's a churro? Have you never had one?" He took a bite without answering you, eager to taste the new snack in his hand.
"...can we order ten more please?" He said to the food truck owner who gladly accepted his request as he started making more.
"Ten?! Are you sure you can eat that much more?" You were worried that his stomach wasn't going to agree to the sandwich he had this morning and now the churros he was going to have which may result to him getting sick.
"I am very sure" the man passed a medium sized paper bag of churros over to the president who in return gave his card.
"Sorry, sir. We only accept cash" tilting his head in confusion, Kangjoon had never heard anyone say that they didn't accept card.
"I'll pay for it, today will be my treat since you paid for my hotel room" you took out your purse and paid for the extra ten churros.
"I shouldn't let you pay! I was the one who invited you all this way" he felt embarrassed, being unable to pay for snacks since he had never carried cash on him.
"It's honestly okay, lets go look at the floats" you smiled reassuringly at the man who in return smiled back, mentally thanking you for your kindness.
"Okay, let's go-"
"Y/N?" A voice interrupted you midway.
"... you came?!"
