"Jay!" You screamed out, waking yourself as you did so. Your heart was racing as you panicked, trying to figure out where you were.

"Miss L/N. Calm down, you're at Zeus infirmary. Remember me? The doctor who dealt with you on your first day here?" Looking to the left from where you were laying, you saw a familiar doctor looking down at you with a clip board in his hand.

Now knowing where you were, you tried to look around and then at yourself, wondering why you were laying on a hospital bed.

"Your arm is severely damaged, it will take 3 months to heal. However, since you're a Nightingale employee, they're willing to pay for your treatment to get a healer to come and help speed things up. Sound good?" Still slightly dazed from waking up suddenly, you nodded stiffly and tried to sit up when you realised that your right arm was in a cast.

"Doctor! I hear talking inside- Y/N!" Myunghee pushed through the curtains that surrounded you and immediately landed her eyes on you. Running over, she checked to see if you were really okay and not injured anywhere else.

"Here, let me help you up" thanking your best friend as she helped you in to a sitting position and fixed your arm so that you were comfortable.

"You were out for 3 hours. I can't believe you knocked out as soon as you saw me in the ambulance. Am I that ugly?" You chuckled, seeing that Myunghee was trying to lift your spirits and you were very thankful for that.

"I'm sorry, I don't even remember doing that... I actually don't remember much..." you tried to recall the events before you fainted and slowly the memories came back.

"Pillar... Phantom...Jungkook... Jungkook!" You suddenly grabbed the trainer's shoulder with your left hand and pulled her closer.

"Where is he?!" Myunghee looked like a fish as she opened and closed her mouth continuously.

"Err, I- hm, well, i don't really-"

"Spit it out!"

"... he was captured by the enemy. They couldn't reach him in time to save him" you saw the seriousness in her eyes, making it worse knowing that Jungkook was truly taken away.

"... Namjoon told me to tell you that it wasn't your fault" she calmly said before patting your back soothingly. It happened again... because of me, it happened again.

"...Y/N? Say something, you're scaring me" you tried to hold back your tears while trying to respond back.

"I have to save him. I have to get him back" you were about to get off the bed when the Eros trainer stopped you.

"What do you think you're doing?! You're in no condition to be saving people and last time I checked, only heroes are allowed to do that" you roughly removed her hands off of you before making your way out.

"Y/N! Sorry doctor, I'll bring her back" you heard behind you before running out into the familiar hallway of Zeus. Looking to your left, you saw the exit of the building and immediately made it your new destination. However, a large ice wall appeared and stopped you in your path.

"Where are you going? You should be resting" you heard the Athena hero speak behind you. Turning around, you saw the blonde male still in his blue hero suit but now also had a line of small stitches on his temple.

"Namjoon! Jungkook is still out there, we-we can go and g-get him..." your lips quivered as your tears began to fall, realising that you couldn't go out and save Jungkook.

Seeing your tears slide down, Namjoon walked over and wrapped one of his arms around your shoulders and the other around your head as he pulled you to his chest, making sure to be careful of your broken arm.

"I'm still keeping my promise to you, we will get him back" unable to control your cries, you wrapped your free hand around his torso and cried in to his chest. You felt him soothingly rubbed your back and patting your head.

"I don't want it to be because of me again... I won't live with myself" you mumbled aloud after calming down slightly.

"Again? What do you mean?" Namjoon was curious, thinking how could this have happened before. You stayed silent, not ready to tell him what happened and now wasn't a good time either.

Suddenly, you heard footsteps behind you.

"Y/N? Are you okay?" Taemin asked concerningly as he walked over to you to see why you were crying. As soon as he saw your broken arm, he remembered what had happened.

"We're sorry we couldn't get your friend... that portal came out of nowhere" you gave a small smile to show that you were going to be fine and noticed that the rest of the Protectors except for Sehun was here as well.

"Where's Sehun?"

"He's talking to Mr. Bang- oh, speak of the devil" GDragon exclaimed while pointing behind you. Both you and Namjoon turned around to see Sehun walking with the CEO of Zeus and also seeing Myunghee scurrying back inside the infirmary, not wanting to deal with the Protectors' work.

"Ah Y/N, I see you're up and about" the mind reader pointed out after noticing you.

"Yes, I'm really sorry for losing one of your employees..." you bowed apologetically, reminding yourself that one of Zeus' heroes has been taken away.

"It wasn't your fault" he said while placing his hand on your shoulder reassuringly. Unable to meet with his eyes, Mr. Bang noticed the hero next to you and changed his attention to him.

"Ah, you're the ice elemental user correct?"

"Yes, my name is Kim Namjoon" he introduced himself.

"I wanted to thank you for at least trying to save one of our heroes. I can already tell that you tried your best" Namjoom looked at you before looking back at Mr. Bang.

"Who said I stopped trying?"
