"How many nights does it take to count the stars, that's the time it would take to fix my heart"

The coach started it's journey in Daejeon and was heading to Daegu, where the main HQ for Athena was located. You arrived around lunch time and knew the area well as well as the employees who worked there.

Since Athena was well known for their strategic planning and for their brains, most of the heroes in training who apply to work for Athena have high scores on their hero written exam.

However, they do also accept a few others if they didn't do as well in the written exam but have potential.

You knew that if you were to apply for any company, this one would be the last on your mind, not even being able to plan what you're going to eat for dinner- nevermind planning how to save the country.

As the coach rolled up to the side of the building where most of the employees enter from, you get off before saying your goodbyes to Mrs. Lee.

Making sure to retrieve your luggage, you started to make your way in.

Walking inside, there were already workers from the company kitchen there, sorting out the boxes of food that had just been delivered.

A few you knew waved at you or said hello as you walked past them and you made sure to return their gestures.

There were some that you didn't recognise and it was either because they're part timers or they've just started to work for the business.

Usually, if you would have worn your uniform with the Nightingale logo on display, the employees would have known who you were straight away from the rumours.

Some may recognise you as the lone hero trainer who is strong enough to be sent on her own.

Others may know you as the person who declined to be a hero even though you went to a hero academy.

Because of this, they immediately think that you either couldn't handle the stress anymore or just wanted to prove yourself to be better than most heroes who accepted to go to these hero companies.

But all of them don't know the real reason as to why you didn't want to be a hero.

"Y/N? Y/N! You're starting work already?" A woman in kitchen uniform ran up to you. She had brown hair that was held up in a tight bun for health reasons and wore a huge grin on her face.

"Hi Mirae" you said with a warm smile. You met Mirae last year when she had just started working with the company for providing healthy meals.

"How was your break?"

"Good, well needed. What about you? Got into any major accidents recently?" You chuckled while remembering how much of an accident prone the twenty two year old was.

Funnily enough, that's how you two met; being a clutz in the kitchen was not a good match.

You remembered how she had accidentally cut herself using the new machinery and luckily for her, you were nearby to heal her.

"Not major ones! I only broke one bone this time" she said while pointing to her shin which was now fully healed. You were surprised that her power wasn't causing accidents or just having plain bad luck.

"That's still bad, you know that?" You raised a brow at the young full timer before shaking the thoughts out of your head on how she could have broken her shin.
