"Does it still hurt?" Andrew asked as he held my hand.
"Not that much, it only stings when I touch it." I said as I ran my finger through the cursive two words written on the outside of my right wrist.
Andrew had kept his promise giving me the tattoo that read Last Hope.
"Well don't touch it Alice." Andrew said as he pried off my fingers from my wrist.
"What now, what do I do now?" I asked him.
"Well, with the blood your skin will be healed within minutes, so you don't have to worry about it." Andrew told me.
I gave a sigh.
"Do I still need to have my guard down and let William in?" I asked in a tired voice.
"I'm afraid so, Alice if you don't let him William will know that you're getting stronger, he will hurt you." Andrew told me.
I got up from the chair and started to braid my hair.
"What does he want from me?" I asked him.
"William wants your blood, that's all he wants from you." Andrew told me.
I looked at him.
"But what for, what does he need it for?" I asked him.
"To do the exact same thing you did to me, to bring the dead back to life but this time they won't be sired to you on the contrary they will kill you and every single hunter on earth." Andrew said as he met my gaze.
I gave a sigh in relief as I saw that for once the door was opened, I stepped out slowly expecting to receive a blow at any moment. The hallway was empty; there was not a single window or object I could use to my advantage. William had carefully planned everything after my incident, everything was set in a way that it was a fact that I was not going to escape anytime soon; even if I hated to admit it William had out done me this time.
I walked through the hallway letting my worries and thoughts cloud my mind, as I turned around the corner, I ran into someone falling to the ground.
"I'm sorry." I said without looking up.
"It's aright Alice; do you need help to get up?" A voice said.
I froze and slowly looked to see a certain girl with long blonde hair and bright green eyes.
"Eleanor?" I said as my voice trembled.
"How are you holding up sis?" Mason asked as he walked in the room.
I opened my eyes and licked my dry lips.
"My whole right side is numb." I told him.
Mason sat down next to me in bed.
"Well that's the point about morphine." He told me.
I gave a small smile.
"I never thought I would be this grateful to have a dad that is a very good doctor." I told Mason.
"Look the bright side of this is that you won't get a scar, dad did a good job with it." Mason told me.
I looked at him and nodded before my gaze fell to my cast. The bloody vampire had done a lot of damage, I had a huge wound, it had been torn up not only flesh but my muscle as well, my arm was broken but the worst part was that the vampire had shot some of his venom on me.
"How are you holding up girl?" Naomi asked as she entered with a tray of food.
I smiled brightly at her.
