"You do know that it wasn't really her right?" Olivia said as she stared at me blankly.
I nodded at her.
"I figured as much once I saw her, I knew William in no way would be able to bring her back unless he used dark magic to build a replica, a vase like a temporary body for her." I told Olivia and she nodded in agreement.
"The rest already got them, so we better get going." Olivia said but she sounded off, there was something wrong.
"Are you alright?" I asked her worried.
Olivia nodded although she didn't seem very convincing.
"Yes, now come on we have no time to be wasting." Olivia snapped at me
"We'll have to be quick." Naomi said as we started to make our way out.
"By the way Sebastian is dead." Olivia told me as we made our way out of the ballroom.
"What? How did that happen?" I asked shocked although I was very glad that this bloody wanker was dead.
"Kole killed him." Olivia simply replied before she walked away.
"Should we ask why?" Naomi murmured next to me and I shook my head, it was better to leave things as they were with Olivia considering that just like most people in my family, she had a very short temper.
"It's better if you don't push it, with her just leave things as they are, believe me I'm telling you this by experience." I told Naomi; I knew better than to make the exact same mistake I had done before.
"You are aware that I can hear you right?" Olivia said as she was way ahead of us in distance.
I cursed under my breath before I decided to speak up.
"You rather I question the reason of why Kole did this and nobody, but you know about it?" I asked her.
Olivia stopped walking, paused and turned around to face us.
"Let's just leave it as it is." Olivia said before she started to walk faster.
Once we got to the vault, I could see how tense things were getting, this was it.
I got to the small container that within had a dark mass, and if I was correct this was William's soul, his existence, the only way William had managed to stay immortal no matter how many times he was badly injured or nearly killed was due to the fact that his soul and body were no longer one. So, in order to certainly killed William with no chance of him coming back or whatsoever this was what I had to attacked and not him.
"Are you sure about this Alice?" My mum asked as I kept staring at the container.
I nodded slowly.
"It's the only option we have left, there is nothing else we can do about this." I said as I grabbed the container and as soon as I did that the dark mass grew bigger before my hand emitted this light that made it shrunk.
I guess it was true what my grandmother had said before, I did have the power to end William's life if I pleased. I stared at it fascinated in some sort of way it, intrigued by the fact that in my hands I literally had the power to end his life just in the blink of an eye, I had always been fascinated by the simple fact of how vampires would do this to elongate their lives, yes after certain age all vampires were immortal yet this was used for extra protection, in this case you could harm the vampire's body in every possible way yet you would never be able to truly kill the vampire, that was until you were in possession of their essence, their soul.
The downside of this would be clearly the fact of how you were vulnerable to the possession or manipulation of your enemies, just like I at the moment had his life in my hands.
