"Are you sure?" Ryder asked me for what seemed to be the fifth time tonight.

I fought the urge to roll my eyes at him, for the past days he had been insanely possessive, and instead of annoying me like it did before at this point it was rather amusing to me.

"Yes, you have nothing to worry about Ryder." I said as I slightly pushed him to go to the car, to leave without me.

"But just days ago William was here attacking the Academy, we still need to be careful." Ryder told me and I saw the slight threat in his voice, I could tell that he was still pissed that his gem had not protected me like he intended it to.

I smiled to his annoyance.

"You have nothing to worry about babe, the hunters already went through the perimeter several times I may add and it's safe. Just go back home and relax, I'll be there before you can notice." I said in a complete ease before Ryder forcefully left along with the rest.

Hours later I packed up my basic weapons, this case being guns, simple yet practical after I had made sure that everything was set and ready, I hoped on my motorcycle more than ready to end this long fatiguing day. I headed towards the exit by the battlefield up North but as I headed towards it, I sensed a presence.

I stopped and took off my helmet shaking my hair out of my face before I looked at him with a smirk.

"It took you long enough." I pointed out as I looked at him.

William returned the smirk.

"You know just like before I can prove your wrong, even when you certainly believe that you know every single one of my actions, moves or thoughts." William curtly informed me.

I slightly frowned at him.

"Even if most of the time I'm not aware of what you are planning I have come to learn a couple of things from you dear uncle, I know for a fact now that you are powerful enough to enter once again my mind despite the amount of magic I use to protect myself. But that even at this point to do this it takes most of your strength which is also why you would never stand against all the hunters, why you would never stand against me unless you used one of your tricks." I said as I stared at him, I knew that what I was doing was more than stupid.

Part of me told me to fight back or to at least run away but I was tired, I was tired and sick of this that I just wanted all of this to end once and for all.

"At least you're right about one thing Alice." William said curtly before all my senses were numbed out.

By the time I was once again able to regain my senses I realized that I was now back to my very own personal hell, I had been taken back to William's castle. Taking a deep breath to calm me self-down I got off the rose gold bed and started to head outside of the bedroom for once shocked that the door was left unlocked. I walked down the long silent and dim lighted hallway, my steps and breathing bouncing down and off the hallway. As I turned around the corner, I noticed Ryder's sister, Kaley walking towards my direction who stopped cold on her tracks once she noticed me.

"What are you doing here?" Kaley demanded, to be honest she looked completely taken back and unpleased that I was here.

"I should be asking you the same thing." I said softly in a calm voice.

Kaley frowned at me before she shook her head.

"No, you don't understand Alice, you really shouldn't be here." Kaley told me.

I looked at her puzzled.

"You know for a second you almost fooled me Kaley, you actually sounded concerned." I pointed out as I stared at her.
