"You were caught red handed stealing from us." Another vampire said as he and several more came into view.
I gave a scoff and rolled my eyes.
"I just took a tad of blood; it's not an all-time crime as far as I'm concerned." I simply told them, I was confident at this point and I felt bloody damn good about myself for once after a very long time.
"Do you know what happens to stupid vampires like you that feed off in our territory?" The first vampire snarled trying to intimidate me, yet it didn't work.
"I don't and I am not in the slightest interested on finding out especially because the lot of you are wasting my valuable time." I said sounding bored and tired as I mentally counted all the vampires, they were twelve in total.
"I want to be the one to teach this snarky bitch some manners." The oldest vampire said, he was at least in his mid-twenties, but I really couldn't tell how long he had been a vampire.
I laughed at him; at this point it was so comical.
"Bring it on then vamp." I said with a cocky smirk.
It was clear to me that this man was their leader, they all dressed well and there I knew for a fact that they were the ones who controlled everything around here.
Just as the vampire launched towards me, I threw a knife aiming for his chest, and there my silver knife stayed right in his heart; I was quite the cupid. The rest of the vampires hissed in realization; I had just killed their leader.
"I suggest you leave before you share the same fate as your friend here." I told them in a calm voice as I strolled carefully around the parking lot, it was needless to say that we were outnumbered but honestly I was the one who had the upper hand here, I could practically tell the next movement of each and every one of them.
"Alice." Eleanor said scared as the vampires burned me with their gazes and Kyle started to cry.
"You bloody idiots; you're a bunch of fools." I yelled at them before they started to attack us.
I had tried to avoid this since the beginning.
"Shouldn't we burn them or something like that?" Riley asked as she looked at the bodies that were scattered around the parking lot.
"Don't do that." I said stopping her.
"Why not, if we leave them like this, they'll come back to life eventually." Riley protested as she eyed me confused.
"Exactly, everyone but their leader will come back given the fact that they are no truly dead, but I don't want to kill them definitely." I told her.
"Why not Alice, why don't you want to kill them?" Riley questioned me.
"Because it will draw too much attention, it will make the rest of their group look for us." Andrew said knowing where I was coming from.
"We need to leave now before it's too late." I said as I headed back to the car.
"How far is the place of your friend Rob?" Andrew asked as he sat next to me in the car.
"About ten minutes or less depending on how I drive, so it will be less." I told him as I started the car.
I hit the road quickly swerving the cars as they came by; I had a couple of different scenarios displayed in my head of how things could end up with Rob.
He was honestly a wild guess; nothing could be fairly determinate or predicted when it came to my dear friend. Truth to be told he was a wild card, nothing but a wild guess, he had a hot temperament and I've been witness of that uncountable times. Rob and I had met a few quite years back, I was a wide-eyed, naïve thirteen-year-old and he was a rouge, untamable sixteen-year-old lad; to say that I found myself captivated by his dark and raw world was an understatement, it had somehow become my world as well.
