A Second Chance [III]

 "Here, take the baby with you." I told Andrew as I handed him Kyle who softly complained that I had let him go.

Andrew looked at me shocked and held Kyle as if he was the most dangerous thing he had ever touched.

"What am I supposed to do with him?" Andrew asked in a strained voice.

I glared at him, was he bloody serious now?

"Hold him, I'll be right back." I said before I stormed into the parking luck and to my luck one of the cars was unlocked but there were no keys.

I pulled out the cables and quickly started the car.

"Come on; get in before the wolves get here." I told them as I pulled by.

"I'll drive; you get into the backseat with him." Andrew told me as he handed me Kyle back.

"How were you able to start the car if it had no keys?" Eleanor asked confused as she sat next to me.

I looked at her and shrugged.

"Rob taught me a few things." I told her.

"Have you talked to him recently? I haven't heard from him since the incident." Eleanor told me.

"The last time I talked to him was after the graduation, but you know that we could always pay him a visit." I told her.

"Alright, in case we get attacked we need to be ready, so you won't be able to sleep just yet." Andrew told us as he raced down the road.

"This is so not fair." Eleanor groaned besides me.

"What's wrong?" I asked confused as Kyle started to play with my hair.

"I'm so tired, I'm in my period and I believe I just got a pimple." Eleanor yelled making Kyle giggle in response.

"See even the baby is amused by your silly problems." Andrew said with a chuckle.

"Kyle seems in a good mood." I said as I settled Kyle down in my arms rocking him making Kyle smile.

"He's not the only one, you're smiling now. Truly smiling Alice, you're happy." Andrew pointed out.

"Just keep the little bugger quiet so I can sleep." Riley snapped at me.

"You could always go inside the trunk." I muttered making Andrew snicker.

"Or I could get rid of him." Riley told me.

"Don't even test me; you know what happened last time." I warned her as Kyle nuzzled into my neck and curls.

When I woke up my head was in a haze, I slowly opened my eyes and felt a soft breathing on the top of my head. I slowly got up and noticed that I had been resting my head on Andrew's chest and shoulder, Riley was driving now so Andrew could rest.

"Good morning." Andrew said once he noticed that I had pulled away.

"Where's Kyle?" I asked in panic as I noticed that Kyle was no longer in my arms.

Andrew grabbed my hand and smiled at me.

"Relax; Eleanor has Kyle at the moment." Andrew informed me as he gestured Eleanor who sat in the front seat playing with Kyle who currently rested on her lap.

I gave a sigh and relaxed smiling as I heard Kyle's contagious giggle.

"So, this is the famous Kyle?" Eleanor said as she continued to play with Kyle before she looked at me.

I nodded and smiled.

"So how did you end up with a baby?" Andrew asked besides me.

I gave a sigh.
