"Alright, I just need the lot of you to do three more laps before you do the suicide drills, I taught you last week!" I told them before some of them took off.

"Don't you think we already have practice enough, I'm sure we're already for the next level." One of the students, Carl said.

"You think you're ready?" I asked him with a smile.

"I know I'm ready." He said in a cocky tone.

"Ready enough to defeat me in a battle?" I asked him.

"Now I wouldn't take that dare if I were you, Alice kicked my ass lots of times." A voice said behind me.

I gave a laugh.

"More like all the times Simon, you never did defeat me." I said as I turned around and stared at the tall blonde with hipster glasses.

"That was before when I was a novice." Simon told me.

"So how about I try now?" I said challenging him.

Simon looked at me and chuckled.

"I rather give you the benefit of doubt in this one." Simon said making me roll my eyes before I gestured Carl to join the others.

I gave a sigh.

"You're here now." I said as I looked at him.

Simon stared at me blankly.

"That's it, I recon that's unusual for you. The Alice I knew would've already squeezed the bloody hell out of me with a hug." Simon told me and I gave him a sad smile.

"It's not that, believe me, it's just that you being here means that she'll have to leave." I told him.

Simon got closer to me.

"Well it's been nearly two months, love." Simon told me.

"I am very aware of that, but I just guess that part of me believed that she would eventually change her mind." I admitted as I softly hugged myself.

Simon looked at me.

"Alice, we both know that's not the case." Simon told me.

I nodded slowly.

"I know; just promise me you'll take care of her alright?" I said trying my best to not cry.

"Of course, love, now I'll give some quick hellos and I'll see you in a bit princess." Simon said as he hugged me.

"Just be careful alright?" I said as I hugged him tightly.

"Of course, especially since it's no secret how much you love me, just try not to miss me that much while I'm gone." Simon said in a cocky voice.

I simply rolled my eyes at him; despite the years some things were just bound to not change at all.

"I'll try my best to not to, although it will be quite hard not to." I said sarcastically making Simon chuckle.

"I'll see you later love." Simon said before he kissed my forehead and walked away.

"One question, are you giving private classes?" Peter asked as he stepped into the training room where I was blowing off some stepped into the training room where I was blowing off some steam.

"What are you going on about?" I asked him confused.

"Everyone always said that you would be a great huntress, but I never truly saw you as an instructor and a very good one." Peter said and I rolled my eyes at him.

"We both know that's not true, most of the new students hate me." I said as I put away some of the weapons and quickly fixed my hair into a messy bun.
