"So how are things going at the moment?" I asked as I stood near the hallway where Antonio stood out of the door begging Riley now officially Emily to come of the bedroom.
"She won't come out; she refuses to see anyone especially Antonio." Andrew informed me as I saw it for myself; Emily had rushed out of the training room without looking back despite Antonio's efforts to stop her, Emily had headed to one of the guest rooms where she was currently staying, that had been almost an hour ago and Emily still refused to open the door.
"I wish there was something I could do." I said as I looked sadly at Antonio.
He had spent the last years believing that the one girl he had truly loved, the girl he had planned on getting married with and finally forming a family with had been dead only to find out moments ago that she was alive all along but with no wish or whatsoever to see him again. Emily had recognized Antonio immediately so that only meant two things, at the moment Emily had seen Antonio she had gotten her memory back or that Emily had known who she was all along and had passed by as someone who had lost her identity calling herself Riley, I could honestly take a simple wild guess because just like everyone else I didn't have the slightest idea of what was happening.
"Why didn't you tell Antonio before?" Claire said as she confronted me.
I frowned at her confused.
"Do you think now that this is my fault now Claire? At the moment when I met her all Emily and I as well as the rest could think about was escaping William's prison besides I didn't know that Riley was actually Emily, Antonio's love, especially after she denied being a huntress endless times and the fact that she claimed not to remember anything from her past life." I said as I glared at her.
"Claire if you want to point your finger at someone and accuse them search somewhere else because it wasn't Alice's fault." Andrew said snapping at Clair who immediately frowned.
"Well someone needs to speak with Emily immediately and try to make some sense enter her head before my brother finally loses it and goes insane." Claire said before she walked away heading towards Antonio.
I watched her leave and gave a small smirk.
"I'd recognize that look of yours immediately Alice, you've planned something wicked." Andrew said as he eyed me carefully.
"I just remembered something; I have such a great idea." I told him before I headed towards a library that was nearby.
Once there I pushed one of the bookshelves to the side and pushed the small opening in the wall that slowly opened the door leading to a narrow dark hallway that was hidden for everyone else. I carefully walked around guiding myself with my memory trying to recall the paths I had once used years ago until I reached the doorknob and opened the door stepping into the bedroom.
"Don't you believe it's time you go out and talk to Antonio?" I said startling Emily who glared at me shocked.
"How did you get in here?" Emily said as she got up from the bed where she was previously sitting.
I looked at her with a smile before I shrugged out of habit.
"There a lot of hidden hallways all over the Academy that connects the place and gives you lots of routes to escape, I had the liberty to explore all of them when I was a young girl but that's beside the point. You and I have to talk Riley, or should I call you Emily now?" I said as I leaned against the wall glaring at her.
Emily gave a sigh, sat back on the bed and ran her shaky fingers through her blonde hair.
"I never thought I would see Antonio here." Emily admitted as the tears slowly rolled down her face, I had never seen Emily this vulnerable before as she was now.
