Even I had to admit it although I hated to but William was being very clever about all of this, for starters he was starving me, I would get food but there were small portions to barely keep me alive, and the most important issue here was that I didn't get any blood.

I could be alright with that if it wasn't for the tiny fact that William was constantly draining my energy. My bloodlust was at its highest point and I knew that I would lose all my sanity at any moment, which was why I needed to escape as soon as possible.

When I finally managed to hijack the lock of the door, I raced down the hallway, my time was limited here.

I turned around to the right and found a dead end, I guess I could always have history repeat itself and jump out if the window down to a multiple story high building but as I walked towards it my vision clouded and my legs started to get weak.

"No, don't do this again; get out of my head William." I cursed before my body crashed down against the window breaking it.

I heard a small shifting around me, just as I opened my eyes, I felt a huge weight on me.

"What are you doing? Get off of me, you, fat wanker!" I yelled as I tried to push him off.

"Happy birthday sis, happy, happy birthday to you, Alice, now get up!" Mason yelled, very close to my ear I must add.

Once I managed to push Mason off, I glared at him.

"Must you do this, every bloody year?" I hissed at him.

"Well it is your birthday." Mason said and shrugged as he got back in the bed with me.

I looked at him.

"Exactly, can't I have for once a decent birthday morning and have the chance to sleep in for the first time in my life ever since I became a huntress?" I asked him.

Mason met my gaze and frowned at me.

"It's a tradition Alice besides on my birthday you hosed me down in my bed, and the year before that was the bucket of cold water with ice, oh and who can forget the fire ants, the itching powder, the mouse traps, the fireworks; Alice you have been pranking me on my birthday ever since you were three." Mason told me making me smile at the good old memories.

I gave a sigh and started to unbraid my hair.

"Alright, I brought this on myself." I said before I rolled my eyes.

"You're lucky enough that I don't prank you like you do to me." Mason told me.

I ran my hair through my hair and smiled.

"That's because daddy would kill you if he found out about you doing something like that to his little girl." I said proudly with a grin, there were several benefits to being daddy's little girl.

Mason narrowed his eyes at me before he got up from the bed.

"Let's go Alice, get up and take a shower, mum's making breakfast." Mason told me as he pulled me up.

My stomach growled as if in cue and I smiled.

"You don't have to tell me twice." I said before I headed to the bathroom.

I took a nice hot shower, as I stepped out and the steam started to fade away, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror or so I thought.

"Mum!" I yelled in a voice full of panic.

Within seconds the bathroom's door was opened and my mum stepped in.

"What's wrong darling?" My mum asked me worried.
