Peaceful, a very peaceful slumber it was indeed.

I do believe that I had never reached a state of mind as this one. I gave a childish giggle still amused by all of this, it was simply so wonderful, and it actually amused me how I had never stopped to really enjoy the small things in life. The snow was slowly damping my hair and melting my skin, but I wasn't cold at all, on the contrary I felt warm, very warm. I currently found myself in a long white dress, my feet were bare, but it didn't bother me at all, as strange as it sounds, I felt comfortable stripped down of anything that was holding me back.

I walked around the vast forest that was completely covered in snow in total ease, I smiled to myself as I felt the warmness spreading throughout my body, there was a sudden bright light, I turned around only to be blinded immediately.

My surroundings changed and now no longer in the forest I found myself in a house, slightly confused I started to walk around finding it familiar, everything seemed so familiar, yet I didn't really know, where I was to begin with.

I came to a stop once I saw the mirror in the hallway, a full-length mirror at the end of the hallway that was tainted certain words that spread across it, 'the blood that flows in me'. Reading those exact words that was like a bucket of ice cold water being those the exact words I had said in the ritual, I could remember everything so perfectly, the dreadful stupid deal I had made with William out of desperation, the huge disappointment I had caused my family but most important the look full of hurt from Ryder because of all that pain I had caused him.

I continued the opposite way of the hallway, the walls a nice beige color and the caramel burnt wooden floor stretching in front of me until I reached a staircase, oblivious to my surrounding I ignored everything and subconsciously headed to a direction in specific or at least that's what it seemed like when I reached a couple of white double doors, pushing them open.

I stepped into a beautiful bedroom, but my eyes immediately stuck to the white bedding where a very familiar man slept.

Silently closing the door behind me I walked into the bedroom, my bare feet touching the warm floor that had headed up due to the sunlight that had escaped through the curtains, the pace of my heartbeat had quicken as I got closer, but there standing close to the bed I was able to see it, especially after he stir in his sleep.

It was him yet at the same time it wasn't, instead of being the twenty-five-year-old guy I knew instead he was older, he was around thirty-six years old.

I gave a gasp as I realized it was him.

Apparently, I was loud enough because soon his eyes were opened and he stared at me confused.

"Are you okay?" He asked me puzzled.

"Ryder?" I asked afraid.

"What's wrong?" He asked concerned.

"It's really you, I can't believe it!" I said relieved before I threw my arms around him.

"Is everything okay?" Ryder asked me worried as he hugged me back.

"I'm so sorry for scaring you but I honestly thought I had lost you forever, after you attacked the vampires and William got furious, I thought it was the end for all of us." I said as I tried my best to not cry.

Ryder pulled away from me and stared at me as if I was a mad woman.

"What are you talking about?" Ryder asked me more confused than ever.

"Ryder I'm talking about how you were all going to die, I'm so sorry I put you all through this danger, this is all but my fault." I said as I cried.
