I stared at the vampire in front of me, his dark hair was a wild mess, his brown eyes were bloodshot and his body was shaking, overall I would say that I almost didn't recognize the person in front of me, he seemed so wild, untamed and out of himself.

I could clearly tell that he was hurting, part of me wanted to wrap my arms around him in order to ease the pain but there was also a part of me that wanted to walk away and never look back and to be honest that part had already won.

"If you think that by being violent, you're going to intimidate me, you're wrong. I was raised to know better, to be better. Having royal blood isn't a privilege as most vampire think, you have to show power but never show fear and for once I'm grateful for that because I do not fear you Ryder." I told him as I met his gaze with determination.

Ryder gave a sigh as he ran his fingers through his hair.

"I wasn't planning on doing this, it wasn't my intention to scare you, and I just feel so frustrated with how things are between us." Ryder admitted before he placed his hand on the doorway not letting me out.

"Those are the consequences of your acts so for once take them as the grown man you are." I said before I tried to walk away but Ryder once again stopped me.

"Just listen to me; I apologize for raising my voice at you I just feel that things didn't really go along like I wanted them to." Ryder told me as he grabbed my chin making me look at him.

The flow of electricity once again managed to annoy me; this was a constant reminder of the pain I felt and the pain there was to come.

"Right, I forgot that I wasn't supposed to find you kissing that girl, my apologies." I told Ryder sarcastically.

Ryder opened his mouth to object but before he could speak Mason entered the bedroom and cleared his throat.

"Alice, are you done packing?" Mason asked in a harsh tone as he glared at Ryder and me.

"I am." I said grateful for once that Mason was being the overprotective brother that had once annoyed me endless time.

"Dad wants to speak with you, he's outside." Mason told me.

I nodded and Ryder gave a sigh before he moved to the side finally letting me out.

"Is that you last bag?" My mum asked as we were setting our things in the plane.

I nodded before I looked at the window; my dad and Mason were saying their goodbyes to Augustus and Faye who were the Silverstone's parents; and also, Naomi, Kole, Ryder and Kaley who was here against her own will stood outside. Throughout the light that emerged from the private jet I was able to watch them silently, that was of course until my mum softly nudged me.

"What's wrong?" I asked her confused.

"Just go out there with them." My mum told me.

I looked at her and shook my head.

"I can't, I already said my goodbyes." I told my mum as I took my seat.

"Not to Ryder." My mum pointed out.

"He doesn't deserve one." I said bitterly.

My mum gave a sigh and looked at me.

"I just don't want you to regret this later on." My mum said before she went outside as well.

I stared at the silver chain that had a snowflake with diamonds; Ryder had given it to me after our Friday night date claiming that this was my real birthday present all along.

I stared at the window once again before I closed my eyes.

"Believe me, I already am." I whispered softly.
