I got near her, my hands nearly seizing her hair when I stopped uncertain.

"Are you sure?" I asked as I looked at her through the mirror.

Eleanor opened her eyes which had been previously shut tightly and looked at me as she bit her lip.

"Just do it, cut it before I change my mind. Do it now!" Eleanor told me.

I gave a sigh before I started to cut her long locks into that long bob she had asked for. Once I was done, I started to pick up the hair that had been cut off, I really didn't know why Andrew had asked us to do this in the first place.

"Give me the hair." Andrew told me.

I handed him the hair and looked at him confused.

"What do you want to do with that?" I asked.

Andrew looked at me with a smirk.

"You'll see soon enough, now remember I'm getting both of you out of here in a week." Andrew said before he left the room.

"Do you want a haircut as well?" Eleanor asked me once we were alone.

I frowned at this, was she mad?

"No, I like having it long besides I know better than to trust you with scissors again." I replied as I absently touched my hair.

I gave a sigh as I stared at the painting in front of me, it was a young woman with raven hair and piercing blue eyes, her posture was strong and firm, her skin pale as the moon but with rosy cheeks and her gaze, that powerful stare of her was unsettling.

The way her eyes looked made you question everything.

"She's such a beauty, isn't she?" A voice said startling me.

I turned around and looked at William.

"Who is she?" I asked.

"Brittany, first of her name, she was a true warrior of the night unlike you, girl who tends to hide behind the skirts of your mother." William said as he looked at me.

I set my jaw and glared at him.

"My mum's dead in case you have forgotten." I told him dryly.

William looked at me and chuckled.

"You're right; I did after all order to get her killed." William said with a smirk.

It was my turn to laugh.

"No, you didn't." I said smiling.

William glared at me.

"What did you say?" He demanded, I guess no one had challenged or even talked back at William before.

"I said that you didn't order to kill my mum, Natashia did that as an act of rage and jealousy. You wanted to keep her alive because you needed her, the day of her death the vampires that attacked the Academy weren't there to kill my mum but to seize her, to take her along with me to guaranty you that power you desire, that's why my mum sent me away but didn't hide me because the only way to protect me was by letting everyone know that I was indeed her daughter, that way people would protect me regardless to what Natashia or others wanted to do to me. You made a mistake before William and the price to pay was high, letting my mother die didn't go unpaid for you." I told him.

"Shut up, girl!" William snarled at me.

"It only infuriates you because you know that I'm right, I'm not a warrior of the night like she was but at least my honor isn't questionable." I fired back.
