"Where are we going?" Naomi asked as she fell behind on our steps trying to catch up as we headed to a very special place in the Academy, this place was mostly off guards for outsides given that it was the most holy place in the Academy, located in the very center, the heart of the Academy was the large indoor gardens, filled up with small waterfalls, fountains and even a peculiar pond; these gardens were the true definition of something being magical, this used to be nothing but an isolated place, a large abandoned space until my grandfather dedicated so much time to create this space to the paradise it is today and gifted it to my grandmother Anna once they found news about them expecting a child, this was my mother's favorite place and in the various letters she had written to me I had seen for her words to be true, she was right, there was certain something magical about this place.

"This place is beautiful, yet I don't understand why the hell are we here Alice? Shouldn't you be in the hospital, I mean you basically died and came back to life just moments ago." Kaley commented as she stayed close to her siblings, I was proud to see that they were now getting better along.

"I'm fine, there is nothing to worry about. I actually did all of that on purpose." I admitted as I cleaned the dried-up blood from my wrists and throat.

"What do you mean on purpose?" My dad asked before anyone else could.

"I knew that no matter what I did William would always try to find a way to make me suffer so I arranged a deal with him, I would let him use my blood to perform the ceremony to bring dead people back and I would do nothing to stop it, yet I never mentioned who exactly I would be willing to bring back or who would interfere in the process." I admitted as Katheryn, Alik and Andrew along with Olivia slowly emerged from the gardens.

"There was no possible way I was going to allow that my mother would come back, so I suggested we made some changes to the plan." Olivia told them.

"So, we could bring someone else back." Andrew continued.

I cleared my throat unsure of how I would continue for once in my life I had picked my own needs before others. I had been blinded for what I wanted to what I needed.

"Well we initially had two options but honestly I don't know if it did work." I said as my voice shook.

I knew better than to let my hopes get high if there was a huge chance that they would get crushed as always.

"It actually did work darling and I am so proud of you." A familiar voice said.

My head snapped to the side and I watched a woman emerge from the garden, she had a long light blue dress the exact one she was buried in, her long dark blonde hair fell down in soft curls framing her heart shaped face, her brown eyes shimmered in happiness but overall she was the exact same just as she was in the picture inside my locket as if nothing had ever happened.

"Mum!" I said my voice breaking as tears rolled down my face before I ran towards her enveloping her in a tight hug, I hugged her as tight as I could, afraid that if I let her, she would disappear.

As she hugged me back I smelled the lavender and vanilla, the same scent that filled up her old clothes in my dorm bedroom, soon before I knew it both Mason and my dad were also hugging my mum, it had ended up being a group hug.

"How is this even possible?" Eva asked as her voice broke.

Just like everyone else in the garden she was in utter shock.

My mum smiled at me, her eyes glistening under the light.

"This was all Alice's idea, she confided on Emily, Kathryn, Alik and Andrew for help and along with Olivia's knowledge they were able to bring us back." My mum informed them, as she spoke I noticed how both my dad and Mason stared at her in admiration, she had truly caused an impact in their lives, to begin with there was my father, they were soul mates and this was something I could relate to, for starters I knew for a fact how hard it must've been to lose her; I myself couldn't imagine a single day without Ryder, let alone for him to die.
