There was an immense silence as I stayed there kneeled on the floor; I placed the palms of my hands on the cold floor before I weakly tried to push myself off the ground. Seeing my struggle Ryder got to my side and grabbed my arms softly pulling me up, once I was standing p I gave him a small smile in gratitude; despite the fact that Ryder wasn't sure whenever or not Brittany was still controlling me Ryder helped me because at the end it was still me.

I took a deep breath to calm myself down before I looked up to meet Olivia's gaze.

"How did Brittany get to control my body?" I asked her, how was that even possible if she was dead?

Was this some sort of possession? I wasn't even certain of anything anymore.

"How do we know that you're really Alice?" Kole said as they started at me.

I gave a groan before I gathered all my hair into a messy bun and rubbed my fingers softly against my eyes.

"I feel so used and bloody hate being the vessel for mind control or whatever that thing was, for seconds I really did believe that I had gone mad." I said as I headed towards one of the chairs and I sat down, I felt as if I was about to pass out of tiredness at any moment.

"Alice, are you really okay?" Ryder said carefully as he walked towards me.

I looked up and met his gaze.

"You don't have to call me like that anymore, you know that even if I started by disliking it at first, your nickname has really grown into me; now I feel very odd whenever you don't call me Doll like always besides I'm quite sure that Brittany is already gone, I just couldn't take it anymore. She was controlling me as if I were a puppet of hers." I said before I entered the main computer and started to search all the footage from the security cameras.

"That sounds like something Brittany would do." Olivia said as she went down the stairs and got near me.

"So, what are you searching for princess?" My dad asked as he eyed me carefully.

I gave a small chuckle.

"Daddy, it's really me and I'm searching for the video surveillance of the past days." I said as I finally found them.

And there it was every single night around three in the morning I would head to the Headquarters alone and leave after two hours.

"Wait, you didn't come at all to the Headquarters one night." Ellen pointed out as we compare the various videos.

"What was different that night?" Mason asked as we all looked at the videos, every single night I would come here even if it was an hour late or earlier but that night I never did show up.

"What night was it?" I asked, I was more than confused than everyone and determinate to find out what I had done to stop Brittany from controlling me that night.

"It was that night when Kaley got to the Academy, that same night when we found Eleanor's sister." Peter told me, and it was the exact same night when Eva had woken me up around five in the morning.

Both Ryder and I looked at each other before I looked away blushing.

"Okay, that secret look that you two shared was more than enough answer, you two seemed to have a busy night." Kole said as I covered my face with my hands in embarrassment.

Did none of them notice that my dad and brother were there as well?

"What did you do when you were in the Headquarters?" Peter asked as they all got near the area where the screens were.

I turned on the digital keyboard and tried to search for them with no success.

"Eva, would you please?" I asked as I looked at her, my head was still fuzzy.
