decorating your house/apartment (CASHTON)

ASHTON: After finding out that you were expecting twins, you and Ash thought it'd be a good idea to move out of your tiny house you two shared and into a house you'd like to start your family in. Picking the house was easy, finding it almost immediately and falling in love with it right away. "It has potential." Ashon has said. Picking the decorations and furniture for the house was the hard part. You bought knew you wanted color, but Ashton wanted some Disney themed living room that you obviously didn't agree on. Finally, you talked him into plain but colorful furniture, like a nice brown couch with hints of turquoise blue pillows and other things. It was fun, for sure. The nursery was even harder to decorate, but that's a different story.

CALUM: Since you and Calum had never really lived together before, you knew decorating would be difficult. Calum clearly didn't care what your now shared apartment looked like, he thought that the furniture didn't need to match and small details didn't matter, you on the other hand went full out, buying completly new, well, everything. Calum attempted to help you pick out what would be in which room, but he got bored and gave up. Although he did help you put the furniture in place, he needed your direction because he was completly clueless as to where to put things. It took three times longer to decorate your house than it needed to, all because calum tried to distract you. But, at the end of the week, your first living space together was completly homey and very welcoming.
