Hii!! Sorry I never update. I'm brain dead. I miss 5sos.

ashton: - all we do is think about the feelings that we hide, all we do is sit in silence waiting for a sign, sick and full of pride, all we do is drive -

The air was heavy, and so we're your hearts. Both you and Ashton's minds were replaying the fight that had happened moments before, a rush of anger and mixed emotions that were taken out on you in front of people you call your friends. You sit silently, reaching up to wipe a few tears away every once in a while. He notices, it's a long drive back but he can't figure out the right words to make you feel right again. The world zooms past you as you watch out the window like it never existed, and you can't help but compare that to how your feelings are much like that. You wonder how Ashton feels, if  he feels more like a coward than an arrogant asshole for the words he said to you, if he knows this relationship is nothing like you guys expected it to be. "Ashton you know we have to talk about it," you say quietly, scared of his response. He sighs loudly and you glance over at him to see his shoulders slumped and hands tightly gripping the wheel. "Yeah." You suspect he's not going to say anything else so you take the chance to. "We don't communicate, we don't talk about our feelings enough, we know we aren't working but we're so damn naive that we keep waiting for a useless sign for us to realize that we need to end things or fix things," you're out of breathe and kind of embarrassed about your mini rant but he seems to agree, he pulls over to the side of the road and grabs your face in his hands. "I'm sorry, I love you."

calum: - it's so simple but we can't stay over analyze again, would it really kill you if we kissed -

You sit on the couch, tangled with Calums limbs. You both know it's wrong but you didn't want to leave. His arms fit around you like your favorite tee shirt and his heart fluttered when he cold feel your heartbeat. Your heads were spinning, you should leave because this friendship has gone too far, you weren't supposed the end up together like this but everything felt right. Hearts beating in time and and limbs shaking together. "I should go." you mutter and stand up. You can't fall in love with him, you can't stay because you know just that will happen. "No, please don't go" Calum replies. There's a desperation in his voice and you know you're over analyzing this whole thing again. He pulls you down, grabs your face in his hands and looks at you with pure love. "it's not going to kill you." your lips mush together and you know it'll be okay. There's a safety in his touch that you know you can't get with anyone else.

luke: -and California never felt like home to me, no California never felt like home until I had you road and now we're singing-

You didn't want it. He didn't want to make you do it. But you both wanted to be together, so one of you had to be selfish and the other had to be courageous and give up everything. You proved to be the courageous one. It was all for him and he was more than thankful but he was aware of the dullness in your eyes because you just couldn't call California home. Luke just wanted to prove that California wasnt as bad as you thought it was, so he took you on a road trip. Outside of the city and into the open roads, not a single other car in sight. It was dark and the clock was inching past 1am and the windows were down, your hair blowing in the wind. You were silent, he was silent. You look over at luke in the drivers seat and notice the way his lips were lifted into a subtle smile and one of his dimples was showing, the stuble on his jaw visible. He was  watching the road with a glint of happiness in his eyes. Looking outside the open window you see the trees on one side of you and the ocean on the other. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" Luke asks quielty. "Yeah, it really is."   You say, smiling widely at Luke. He smiles back, then returns his eyes to he road. As you admire luke you can't help the words from falling off your lips, "California makes a great home, but you make a better one" because wherever luke is, home is, no matter how beautiful California is.

michael: - your laugh echos down the highway, carves into my hollow chest, spreads over the emptiness -

You just wanted some damn popcorn. "I know the store is that way baby, I'm just taking a long detor," michael laughs, taking your hand in his free one. You roll your eyes, but still let out a small laugh at his quirkiness, "fine, but I get to DJ then," you respond as you yank the aux chord from his phone and plug it into yours. The Killers play loudly from the speakers in his car as you speed down the highway, making quiet jokes every few minutes, sometimes reaching over to poke his side and get a little giggle out of him. You watch him intently as he drives. The curve of his jaw and nose, his pouty lips, the way his eyebrow piercing is placed, the stuble on his pink cheeks, everything. "Michael, I don't think I tell you enough but you're really hot, like, the beautiful kind of hot that makes people blush just by looking at you," you say, giggling a little at how weird you might sound. But in all honesty, he needed to know how gorgeous he is. Michaels laugh boomed throughout the car and across the highway, both yours and his happiness probably reaching miles away. His laugh crawls into the darkest parts of your mind and ignites a fire, happiness radiating from every inch of you.  "And you make me very, very happy." You add, blushing as you look over at him with a wide smile and sparkling eyes. Michael blushes too, his head tilting in embarrassment as he struggles to find words. "Well, baby, you make me extremely happy. Like, extremely. So thank you."

IM SORRY I FORGOT TO WRITE CALUMS AND ACCIDENTTLY PUBLISHED IT OOPS SORRY AGAIN!!
