(3rd Person POV)

Keith walked down the hallway of the apartment building that he lived in with his husband, Lance. Lance had been away on a business trip to LA for about two weeks. Keith decided to surprise Lance by flying to LA and surprising him. Keith fumbled with his keys and quickly unlocked the door to his apartment. He quickly packed and left for the airport.

(Time skip)(In LA)(Keith's POV)

I walked into the hotel Lance told me he was staying at and asked the receptionist which room Lance was staying in.

"Relation?" she asked sweetly. She gave me a cheerful smile while I answered.

"I'm his husband," I said. Her smile faded.

"Oh… He's in room number 76. Here's a key" she handed me a small golden key. I thanked her and walked towards the elevator.

When I reached the second floor, I got off the elevator and search for Lances room. I found his room and unlocked the door when I heard a groan through the door. I was hesitant to open the door but once I did, I wished I didn't. I saw Lance, sprawled out on the bed with a girl on his lap. His pants were undone and the girl was wearing a thong.

"What's going on here?" I asked, holding back tears. Lance cursed under his breath and tried to get up but the girl pushed him back down.

"Who are you?" she asked. I felt tears flood to my eyes as I watched her shift on Lance's lap. Lance groaned and I felt a tear run down my cheek. He… he liked it.

"I'm Lance's husband! Who are you?" More tears flooded my eyes. I did my best to hold them back.

"I'm Nyma. Lance's girlfriend" I gasped. I looked at Lance. He looked panicked. I took off my ring and threw it at Lance.

"I WANT A DIVORCE!!" I yelled. I ran out of the room. I cried as I ran down the hallway. I heard my name being called. I looked over my shoulder to see Lance running after me. I ran faster, trying to get away from him. I ran to the elevator and quickly pushed the bottom for the lobby. The door closed slowly and I was afraid Lance would make it to the elevator before it closed. He did.

“Baby, I’m so sorry. It’s not what it looked like I promise you. Nyma’s my co-worker, not my girlfriend. I invited her over to talk about our recent sales. She jumped on me. I would never cheat on you Baby. I promised you that on our wedding night. I love you, Baby.” Tears streamed down my face. I wanted to be angry at him… but I couldn’t. I couldn’t be mad because I loved him too.

“Keith, Honey, you’re the only one who I want to be with. I promise that I don’t want her. I kept telling her I was married. I kept telling her to stop. She said you wouldn’t find out. That made me want her off of me even more. I couldn’t live with myself. I love you, Babe.” Lance pulled me close and tried to kiss me. I pushed him away. It hurt to do that though because I wanted him to kiss me too. I'd missed him so much.

The elevator opened and I rushed out. Lance grabbed my hand and asked me to wait for him so we could fly home together to get everything straightened out. I did. He checked out of the hotel and we took a rental car to the airport. As we waited for our flight, Lance started talking to me.

“Honey-”

“Don’t call me that!” I snapped at him. I refused to look at him out of fear that I would soften. Lance could do that to me. He was the only one who could do that to me.
