They were fighting again.
Of course they were, when were they not?
Patton and Virgil were sitting on the couch, watching them. Not trying to stop them.
It started with simple insults, spit at each other when they passed in the hallway, as it always did.
But now they were full-on fighting.
It wasn't very hurtful, as neither of the sides got hurt very easily.
Until Roman found a kink(as in weakness you dirty fucking-) in Logan's armour.
"Nobody cares about your opinion, Logan!"
Everyone went silent. The air was thick with tension.
Logan froze up.
He couldn't move.
He couldn't speak.
Couldn't breathe.
Roman's face softens.
"L-Logan...?" He asks softly.
Logan can't respond. He just stares.
His emotions...
What emotions?
He shouldn't have emotions.
He shouldn't have opinions.
He's only there to remember.
To teach.
To suffer.
"L-Logan, I'm s-sorry, I didn't mean it..." He says. Logan's hands shake.
"N-no, I am okay. It is okay. I-I understand your point of view." He says, his voice wavering.
"Wait, no, I didn't mean that! You can have opinions, too!" He says. Logan shakes his head.
"What kind of robot has opinions?"
And just like that, he's gone.
-Time Skip-
Logan sits at his desk, his door locked. It has been locked for three days, ever since the incident.
He hasn't eaten anything, hasn't drunk anything, hasn't left his room.
Hasn't stopped working.
After all, robots don't need breaks.
Don't need opinions.
Don't need emotions.
Suddenly, a soft knock comes to his door. No one has tried to speak to him since Roman was banging on his door, trying to apologize. Logan sighs, setting down his pen and standing up, walking to the door.
Patton was waiting there when he opened the door. Logan wasn't surprised.
"Yes?" He asks. Patton stares before launching at Logan, hugging him. The logical trait struggles, tense. Patton has a strong grip, though. Logan sighs, accepting but not returning the hug.
"Logan, we haven't seen you in three days. Are you okay...?" He asks, not letting go.
"Yes, Patton, I am completely fine," Logan says.
"Y'know, that's what they all say." Logan jumps, noticing Virgil, who wasn't there before. Or maybe he was. Logan hasn't gotten any sleep so he didn't notice. "But then, it turns out they aren't."
"I am serious. Obviously. I wear a necktie." Logan says. Virgil rolls his eyes.
"Then let me see your thoughts," Virgil says. Virgil, as anxiety, can read a person's thoughts, if he has consent, and see the thoughts the person is having. He rarely does this, though. Logan tenses up.
