Sanders Sides Oneshots

~°Babies°~

Remus and Deceit had no idea what was happening. They hadn't heard from the 'Light Sides' in a few hours. Which was strange because they basically ran the Mindscape and sometimes asked Remus or Deceit to help with things from time to time.

Remus had gone to check on the other sides about fifteen minutes before and, in hindsight, that probably wasn't the best idea that Deceit had.

So Deceit goes to the Commons to find a very confused Remus holding two babies and surrounded by two more.

Deceit stares in shock before coming forward.

"What happened?" He asks loudly. The sides all look up at him. The baby Patton screams and hides behind baby Roman, who tries(and fails) to stand in a defensive position. Baby Virgil, who was struggling to get out of Remus' grasp, hisses at Deceit. Baby Logan just looks bored and doesn't do anything to try to get out of Remus' grasp.

"Look, don't blame me for this!" Remus shouts as Deceit picks up baby Roman and Patton, who put up quite the fight. Patton starts reaching for Virgil, who has begun trying to bite at Deceit.

"Too late." Deceit replies simply. Remus groans, readjusting his grip on Virgil.

"They were like this when I got here and nobody was explaining what happened!" He says. Deceit sighs heavily and sits Roman and Patton down on the couch before taking Virgil and Logan and sitting them down as well.

Patton instantly clings onto Virgil, who hisses at Deceit again. Logan is the only one who sits completely silently.

"Alright, all of you be quiet." Deceit says, crossing his arms. Roman glares.

"You can't tew us what to do!" He says loudly. Deceit looks at him.

"Do you want to sit in time out, Roman?" Deceit asks simply. That certainly shut him up. Everyone got quiet. "Okay, who wants to tell me what happened?" Roman instantly stands up, using the back of the couch for support.

"It was the Dwagon Witch! She came in hewe and cuwsed us awl!" He says loudly.

"Why? Did you upset her?" Deceit asks. Roman shrugs.

"I don't know. Maybe." Roman says suspiciously, looking away. Virgil's hand shoots up.

"Roman pulled out his swowd and thweatened to kiwl hew!" He says. Roman glares at him.

"Did not!" He shouts.

"Did too! I saw it!" Virgil shouts back.

"Alright, that's all I need you two. Quiet." Deceit says. Virgil smiles in accomplishment while Roman just pouts and sits back down, arms crossed. "Logan and Patton? Where were you two?" Deceit asks.

"I was making cookies. I think that they'we stiwl in the oven." Patton says. Deceit sighs.

"Remus, go get the cookies out of the oven." Deceit says. Remus nods and rushes over to the kitchen. Deceit then looks at Logan.

"I was w... Rr... Reading. The Drragon Witch shrunk my book..." Logan says, trying his hardest to pronounce his 'r's correctly. He looks down when he finishes talking.

"Aw. I'll get you a new one, okay?" Deceit says. Logan nods and Remus comes back with a plate.

"They actually aren't too bad," Remus says. Deceit frowns, looking at the cookies.

"Remus, those are burnt. Go throw them away." Deceit says. Remus smirks.

"Make me." He says, popping one into his mouth. Deceit cringes and snatches the plate from Remus.

"Stay here. I'll be right back." He says to the baby sides. They all nod as Remus pouts. Deceit goes to the kitchen and disposes of the burnt cookies, putting the now dirty plate in the sink.

Deceit quickly gets back to the babies and Remus, not wanting them to go anywhere. He finds Remus sitting on the floor in front of the couch, seeming to be telling the babies a story. However, by the disgusted and fearful looks on the baby's faces, Deceit decides that it's not a very nice story.

Deceit instantly steps forward, grabs Remus' sash, and yanks him back away from the babies. Remus shouts in surprise before crossing his arms and pouting.

"Why don't we put on a Disney movie and just... Wait for the spell to wear off. It has to at some point." Deceit suggests. The babies seem to agree so Deceit summons the movie Lady and The Tramp and puts in the DVD before he and Remus sit on the couch with the babies and start the movie.

By the end of the movie the babies, Deceit, and Remus were all asleep, all cuddled up to each other.

The Dragon Witch sneaks in, a smirk on her face, and retracts her curse.

She would stay to see their reactions in the morning but that was just too risky so she left, hoping it would be as funny as she hopes.

It definitely was.

Virgil hissed at Deceit and Remus. Patton screamed. Logan groaned in annoyance because his nice sleep was interrupted. Roman was still sleeping, despite all the noise. Deceit was shouting for everyone to shut up cause it was him that helped and they should be grateful.

And Remus was busy digging the burnt cookies out of the trash.
