Tw. Uhhh fluff and crying

Logan lets out a heavy sigh, glancing at each of the other sides.

They just aren't listening.

Then again, Logan doesn't expect them to after all the other times his input goes ignored.

"Thomas, maybe you should get some sleep. We can revisit this subject tomorrow when you're well-rested." Roman suggests.

"That... Is actually not a good idea. It will just figuratively eat at him all night and he will not get proper rest because of it. It would be much better if we talk about this now." Logan tries to bring the others to their senses but they just shrug his suggestion off. Again.

"Oh, I'm sure it won't be such a bad idea to get some shut-eye. Besides, he can always sleep in if need be." Patton says, trying to be calming.

"Yeah. Why don't you just leave this issue to us, Logan." Roman says. Virgil nods in agreement. Logan feels himself getting red with anger. He clenches his fists.

"That is what you always say! You never listen to me! It's always 'We can handle this, Logan,' or 'You can sit this one out, Logan.' You never want to hear anything I have to say and I am sick of it! Next time you do actually end up needing me, don't bother asking for help." Logan snaps, tears starting to drip down his face as he sinks down without waiting for their responses.

~•~•~

Logan has hidden away in his room for three days. Nobody has bothered to check on him, twisting the figurative knife in his chest.

He hasn't moved from the curled up position by his bed. He knows that he should probably get himself something to eat or, at least, drink but he can't bring himself to face the others.

Logan lays his head on his knees, letting out a sob as he remembers the events of the past day.

Suddenly, he hears a knock at his door.

Logan looks up at the door in confusion. Who would want to see him?

Despite his questions, he forces himself to stand and walk over to his door, wiping his eyes hastily.

He pulls the door open and, to his surprise, comes face to face with a worried Janus.

"Logan, are you alright? I totally didn't hear you crying." Janus says, obviously lying. (That rhymes-) Logan tenses up, looking away.

"Was I really being that loud?" Logan asks quietly. Janus seems taken aback.

"It's okay-" Janus tries to reassure him but is quickly cut off.

"No, it isn't. You don't have to..." Logan trails off when he realizes what he's about to say and rethinks his sentence. "You don't have to pretend to care." Janus sighs.

"Logan, I'm not pretending. Nor am I lying, as hard as it is to believe." He says, putting a hand on Logan's shoulder. However, as soon as their bodies come into contact, Logan pulls back, looking at the ground.

"Please... Don't touch me..." He says, much quieter than he's ever been before. Janus hesitates before nodding, retracting his hand.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Janus asks softly, not wanting to upset Logan.

Logan hesitates before speaking again.

"You... Really want to hear my stupid emotional problems...?" He asks, still avoiding eye contact.

"No emotional problem is stupid. You shouldn't have to go through something alone." Janus says. Logan thinks for a moment before nodding and stepping aside for Janus to enter, which he does.

Logan then closes the door and sits on the bed next to Janus.

"Let's start with this. Why were you crying?" Janus asks after a few moments of silence.

"I-it was a fight that happened about... Three days ago. With the others. It just... Came back to me... And I was suddenly just... Crying..." Logan says quietly, staring at his hands.

"What was the fight about, if you don't mind me asking," Janus asks softly. Logan gives a small sigh before telling Janus everything.

"They weren't listening to me. I shouldn't have been surprised because they never do anyway, but this time I just... Snapped. They were telling me that they could handle the problem with Thomas and that's when I started yelling." Logan says.

"That is what you always say! You never listen to me! It's always 'We can handle this, Logan,' or 'You can sit this one out, Logan.' You never want to hear anything I have to say and I am sick of it! Next time you do actually end up needing me, don't bother asking for help."

Logan's pained voice rings in his head as he repeats his words to Janus, making him let out a small sob. Janus stares in shock.

"Logan, you are allowed to be upset with them. I don't know what they were thinking but I promise that it won't happen again with me around." Janus says. Logan sniffs, looking up at Janus slowly.

"... Really...?" He asks softly. Janus nods. Logan feels more tears run down his face as he suddenly launches himself at Janus, hugging onto him.

Janus is surprised for a moment before he smiles, hugging Logan back. They sit like that for longer than they expected, just enjoying the comfortable silence, before Janus speaks up, realization washing over him.

"Logan, how long have you been in here?" He asks slowly. Logan tenses up and pulls away, wiping his eyes.

"Um... Three days..." He says quietly.

"And have you eaten or drank anything?" Janus continues, growing increasingly worried.

"I- no..." Logan mumbles. Janus gives a small sigh.

"Wait in here, okay? I'll go get you something to eat." He says, standing up. Logan nods and Janus leaves the room.

Janus takes a bit longer than he intended because he ends up getting into a fight with the 'Light Sides' as he's making Logan food.

After Janus finally gets back, the two turns on a documentary to watch together as they talk and Logan eats.

They start spending much more time together after that. Sometimes, Logan will rant about the 'Light Sides', and other times, Janus will playfully complain about Remus.

They don't need to talk to each other, though. Sometimes, they just sit in comfortable silence and enjoy each other's company.
