Tw. Self-harm

(Wow Patton angst)

(I never do this-)

(Thanks for the request TransRat666)

Patton smiles.

It's the main thing he's known for.

However, nobody expects the smiles to be fake.

~•~•~

Patton lays in his bed, crying softly into the chest of his stuffed animal.

Thoughts run through his head.

Childish.

Too emotional.

Annoying.

Ugly.

Fat.

He can't take it.

He sniffles, sitting up and adjusting his glasses.

He stands up and walks to his bathroom, forgetting to close the door.

Who would check on him anyway?

Patton pulls out a drawer and picks up a small blade.

He examines it closely before slowly bringing it to his arm.

He winces slightly as he drags the cold metal against his skin.

Blood bubbles up at the top of his skin.

Patton can't seem to help himself.

He drags the blade across his arm again.

And again...

And again...

Each wound is deeper than the last.

Patton notices black edging its way into his vision.

He doesn't care.

He keeps going.

Deeper.

Deeper.

More blood.

More blood.

"Patton!"

Suddenly, the blade is snatched from his grip.

Patton's head snaps towards the person.

Logan.

"Oh, god, Patton, what did you do?" Logan asks, much softer than he's ever sounded before.

He carefully takes Patton's arm.

"Here, sit on the toilet," Logan says, guiding him back until he's sitting.

Logan summons some bandages and kneels in front of Patton, working quickly to cover his arm.

Logan finishes wrapping his arm and urges the rest of the bandages to disappear.

He doesn't look back up at Patton.

"... Why...?" He asks after a moment. Patton looks at him.

"... Wh-what...?" Patton asks. Logan finally looks up at Patton, tears glassing over his eyes.

"Why did you do it? You could have killed yourself!" Logan says worriedly, taking Patton's hands.

"Y'know, maybe they should have," Patton responds, looking away.

"Patton, no! Why would you want that?" Logan asks, pulling Patton down to sit on the floor with him.

"... Because I'm annoying, childish, ugly, fat, and I'm too emotional," Patton says, tears welling up in his eyes. He stares down at his legs. Logan suddenly pulls him into a hug.

"Patton, you are none of those. You may be a bit emotional but that is your job. You are not ugly. In fact, I think you are beautiful. You may be a bit chubby but that's okay. It is all the better to cuddle. You aren't annoying. You may be childish but that's just what makes me love you even more." When Logan finishes, Patton lets out a small sob into his shoulder. Logan instantly pulls away. "A-are you okay? Did I say something wrong? I am sorry, I am not good with-"

Patton kisses him.

When he pulls away, Logan is shocked. Then, slowly, he smiles, before quickly kissing Patton again.

And again.

And again.

Each kiss is longer than the last.

They both notice tears off happiness dripping down each other's faces.

They don't care.

They keep kissing.

They hug onto each other, laughing softly.

"I love you, Patton. Please... Please, never do this again. I do not know what I would do without you. You help me so much." Logan says.

"I won't. I promise." Patton whispers.

"Should we... Get off the floor...? It is a bit uncomfortable." Logan says. Patton giggles and nods. They both stand up and make their way to Patton's bed.

When they lay down, they begin kissing every inch of the other's face.

They giggle quietly, cuddling up as close as possible and closer.

Then, they slip into a well-needed rest.
