"we need to hurry, haggar will know your escaped" Pidge a half breed galra soldier whispered yelled as she dragged the black paladin by his arm after waking him from a frozen pod.

"w-who are you" he asked as he started to wake up more and have control over his body. 

"I'm just a friend to earth, Haggar took you and made a clone of you called Kuro. He connected to haggar with her magic and is showing all your paladins friends plans and secrets to zarkon" Pidge explained as they walked towards an escape pod.

"a-a clone" Shiro muttered.

"his name is kuro, when you reach the castle of lions pass him the drive and tell him pidge. Dont say anything else. He a good guy, he just filled with hate by Haggar magic. Please Help him" Pidge begged as they reached the pods. 

"why help me, are you with the blades" Shiro asked unsure.

"no, my father was galra and my mother was a human. I have an older brother who was born fully human while i was born as a galra child. I only wish to protect my family from the galra fate" Pidge replied and typed in the codes to the pod making it take shiro to the castle of lions. 

"come with me, we could use more help" Shiro asked with a kind smile.

"no, i must take care of haggar to give kuro a chance. But if i fail then please save him" Pidge frowned and pushed Shiro into the pod.

"please" Pidge whispered with hope before the pod fully closed and shiro went flying out. 

Shiro reached the castle of lions and ran to the control room seeing his clone or as pidge called him kuro. He saw his friends stand in shock and confusion. 

"anyone else seeing two shiro's right now" Lance asked with worry.

"nope, i see them too" Hunk mumbled.

"oh thank god, i thought i was just seeing things after not sleeping all day" Keith sighed.

"who are you" Allura yelled as she looked to the real shiro.

"he must be a new type of weapon made from the galra to trick us, everyone stay back" Kuro yelled in fake worry.

"a type of clone maybe" Coran muttered.

"I'm the real shiro" Shiro frowned as he stepped forwards.

"no I'm the real shiro" kuro hissed.

"Pidge" Shiro frowned and held out the stick drive while kuro freeze.

"kuro, she saved my life and asked me to pass this with just her name" Shiro replied and Kuro quickly walked over taking the drive from Shiro before running over to the controls. 

He plugged the drive into the controls and turned on the screen, he clicked on the only video on the given drive and watched. 

"Kuro, I'm sorry for this but you must discount from haggar before its too late. I know you, your not a bad man and you can use that hate within you to help win this war. Work with the paladins to end this war and bring peace to all. Please dont go down the galra path that will only bring pain" Pidge spoke with a gentle smile as she sat in her room on the ship recording herself. 

"I'm sorry my love, i must break our promise and leave your Alone. But i promise you wont be alone for long becuase even if tricking the paladins was your mission, you still became friends and a new family with them. You have a place to belong where you can be happy. I cant give you a place, not while I'm working under the galra. So i have made up my mind, I'm going to attack Haggar the night i free shiro. She planning to destroy earth but i must protect my family who living a normal free life from this war. I fear that i might fail in taking down haggar and will just be killed by her but i wont give up with a fight" Pidge frowned and looked to her nap.

"no please dont do this" Kuro begged, he knew it was a recording but he couldn't stop the words from coming. 

"I'm sorry kuro, i wish i could keep our promise. I love you and I'm so glad i got to meet you. I wish we could have met a different way but i promise to find you if we ever meet in another life. I'm proud to have you in my life even through all we did was evil. I truly love you kuro" Pidge smiled warmly as tears fell from her eyes before she hanged up. 

"Katie" Kuro cried out and shiro walked over placing a hand on his clone shoulder.

"she was a brave soldier and she deserves a better end" Shiro whispered not sure what to say.

"we have to save her, please i-i cant lose her" Kuro begged as he shook shiro. 

"but what she saying, she is on a galra ship with haggar, how do expect us to go save this galra soldier" Coran asked.

"her name is pidge, she not just a galra soldier she was forced to work under haggar and zarkon. She hates herself for all the killing and pain she caused" Kuro hissed.

"i say we save this chick, if she was willing to risk her life saving shiro, her lover shiro clone and kill haggar then we can use her on the team" Lance grinned.

"but a glara ship with haggar on, its asking to be killed" Hunk frowned.

"look, this pidge gal is willing to die to protect earth. Then why shouldn't we help a hidden comrade" Keith smirked and stepped forwards.

"no i forbid it, i wont risk everyone life for someone who works under the galra" Allura yelled.

"sorry princess but i dont think this guy is going to listen to your orders" Shiro smirked as he turned to  Kuro who was willing to kill to go save pidge. 

Days Later...

"will you get of me" Pidge yelled as she pushed Kuro off her.

"but Katie" Kuro pouted and wrapped his arms around her from behind.

"no, I'm just going to the bathroom" Pidge sighed.

"but" Kuro sulked.

"i will be back in two minutes the most, just let me pee before i wet myself" Pidge begged. 

"but" Kuro mumbled.

"Kuro let me go or i will disconnect your arm and leave all the jars tightened around you" Pidge hissed and kuro let go.

"thank you, now behave while I'm gone" Pidge smiled brightly and kissed kuro before entering the bathroom. 

"we sure this guy was trying to kill us" Hunk asked unsure.

"yeah like all i see is a puppy right now" Keith frowned.

"well he a tamed puppy" Lance grinned and the others chuckled.

"well lets just be glad we could save her in time" Shiro smiled.

"Katie" Kuro pouted outside the door.

"oh come on" Pidge hissed.
