"I love you" He smiled gently as his eyes filled with nothing but love.

"I love you" She smiled warmly as they shared a loving sweet kiss. 

Eyes closed as they melted into the kiss, wishing this moment could last forever but the ship shaking proved they couldn't. 

He took her hand as he ran pulling her along and slashing down any soldiers before him with his sword. He had to protect her, a life without her wasn't worth living and he wouldn't let her die in such a place. She was important to him and his own reason to keep living and fighting to finish this war. A war she shouldn't have known about, a war she shouldn't have been brought into and yet she was. 

He reached a small room pulled her inside before locking the door letting her look around and look at a pod before her. A pod only big enough for one and worry filled her body as she turned to him. She knew what he was planned and she hated it. 

He turned to her with sadden eyes, he had to protect her and keep her safe no matter the cost. Even if it meant leaving her and sending her somewhere far away until the war is over. He walked over to her, placing his sword into its sheath before placing a hand on her cheek.

He looked into her tearing up hazel eyes and softly smiled towards her.

"I promise, I will find you" He whispered before stealing one last kiss and pushed her into the pod. He watched her cried as she bang on the glass, yelling for him to not do this. He whispered 'I love you' knowing she couldn't hear him but she would knew what he said. He pressed the button as a tear left his eye.

 

The war wasn't over and her pod became lost in space. She was frozen inside in a forced coma just waiting to be saved. But she never was, instead she came crashing down to a planet she once called home but earth had changed over the thousand of years she was frozen. 

Her name was Katie Holt and she was taken from earth a thousand years ago by aliens known at alteans. King Alfor was the one who ordered a couple of his best soldiers to steal someone from earth once they have learned of the young planet being almost like alteans but after meeting Katie it was clear humans were not like the alteans and needed to be left, to be forgotten about over the years.  She was now sixteen or well now one thousand and sixteen years old and she was Alone. 

Katie became pidge, a nickname her brother gave her to her when they were children. Now she was stuck in space before meeting him. The prince of the galra a cold man who loved her no matter what. She loved him and now she was sent away, all alone on a planet that no longer looked like her old home. She was filled with bad and old fashion tech compared to the tech she saw in space. She walked around noticing an army base and joined up as Pidge Gunderson. 

Tears left her eyes as she notice how much Earth had change and how different she was to the rest of the humans. She wanted to return to her lover but knew he must have been dead by now. She needed to keep living, dead or alive she knew he would keep his promise and return to her side. She just needed to wait. 

She made friends with someone called Keith and that how she met Shiro and Matt. Matt, an older boy who looked just like her older brother but she knew he couldn't be the same since her family was long dead. Shiro who seemed to notice a longing in her eyes treated her like a little sister.
