I know her better then i know myself.

I know she loved him so very much and wanted a future with him.

But she was kind and put others happiness before her own.

She would smile brightly while giving him away, she would lie and say she was 'great' before crying on her own later. 

So when she notice her brother was in love with her boyfriend she started to break. 

She loved her boyfriend so very much but she loved her brother and wanted him to be happy.

So when she notice her boyfriend glancing towards her brother more, she made a choice. 

She took her boyfriend hand and her brother before dragging them away from the castle party. 

"sorry shiro but i dont feel love for you anymore and I think you only fell in love with me becuase you thought i was matt at first. So I'm breaking up with you but i wish for you to be happy and love the right person. Start your new future with Matt" She smiled sweetly and placed her hands over each other before slipping her hands from matt and shiro letting them both hold each other hands instead. Her eyes filled with pain as she saw how they looked to each other, a look she never got from him even though she loved him first. 

"Katie" Shiro frowned with worry.

"I'm fine, I'm the one who broke up with you remember and anyone someone else caught my eye" She grinned but it was all lies. She was just too kind to take someone else's love and watch her brother suffer as she loved the man he loved. 

"thank you" Matt smiled brightly and she nodded before walking away, keeping her normal space until she turned the corner letting her tears fall. 

How do i know this story, well becuase I'm in love with the green paladin. I've loved her since my garrison days and i would see her come visit her brother or sneak in to surprise them. I watched her look at shiro with love as i gave her the same look. I've always been watching her and protecting her while she started her own future. 

I stood around the corner waiting for her since i knew what she was planning. I walked towards her, taking her hand before throwing my jacket over her face to hide her crying face before dragging her to my room. 

I wrapped my arms tightly but gently around her as she cried into my chest that night. We fell asleep just cuddling and when morning came she was gone. It was like a dream but i knew it was true because my jacket smelled of her. 

I watched as she slowly broke inside while smiling brightly and acting like her normal self. I hated watching her suffer while she loved a man who now dated her brother. I wanted to kill them both for making her cry but i knew she wouldn't be happy over their deaths. 

I couldn't handle watching her break and did small things trying to bring a smile to her face. I would leave cookies each night on her desk in the hanger. Sit with her when she sat alone in any room so she knew she wasn't alone. I would train with shiro during team training, so she didnt get pair up with him and so i could hit him as revenge. I volunteered to protect her during missions so she wasn't left alone with shiro. I would tease and mess with lance making her giggle and sometimes join in. 

She stopped breaking and her smiles was no longer fake. Her laughs was real and amazing making me fall more in love with her. But now i was stuck becuase i didnt know what to do. Should i keep doing the same things or should i stop now she was ok again. She was smart and would work out i loved her if i kept staying so close but if i stopped what if she goes back to breaking inside. 

I sat under my red lion and thought hard. The red lion telling me to just confess already or he so telling the other lions about my crush.

No, my love for her. 

I knew what i needed to do and walked towards the green lion hanger before freezing. She was looking around her desk for cookies making me chuckle. She was still waiting for me to sneak in cookies while she was gone, it was cute. She turned to me surprised and i gave a small wave while she smiled sweetly. 

"Hey" She smiled softly as i walked over.

"hey" I mumbled unsure how to act with her. 

"you wouldn't have any cookies with you, would you" She asked with a small grin.

"so you knew" I replied with a small smile and she nodded.

"thank you" She smiled brightly and kissed my cheek. 

"Pidge" I whispered with a slight blush.

"yes" She asked looking slightly worried.

"i love you" I whispered with a warm smile before stealing a sweet soft kiss on her lips. My cheeks fully red and i turn to see her cheeks turn rosy.

"K-keith" She blushed making me find her adorable. 

"i love you Katie" I smiled softly and placed my hand on her cheek. 

"i love you" She whispered with a warm smile and pulled me into a kiss. 

Now some might say I'm just a replacement for her broken heart.

But they didnt see the love in her eyes every time she looked at me.

A look that was way better then she ever gave shiro.

A look that belonged to me only and i was proud to call her Mine.
