Galra Baby - Shidge.

"Katie, we need to go" Shiro yelled as he ran towards the room where he left pidge hacking. 

It was meant to be a smooth mission, shiro and pidge sneak into the ship and gain some info while Pidge leaves a bug in the ship system. But when do anything go to plan, the castle worm jumped a little too close to the ship while Pidge and shiro was inside the galra ship already, a little too close meaning right in front of the galra ship.

The galra ship was just filled with supplies for a galra ran planet meaning mostly drones filled the galra ship. With the help of pidge she was able to shut them all down leaving the couple galra soldiers in a panic and shiro time to see what supplies they were carrying. But it seemed the commander order the ship to self distrust towards the castle, the two paladins were the only living creatures on board and shiro knew it was a good time to leave.

"what that" Shiro asked with worry as Pidge stood in the middle of the hall, holding something wrapped in her arms.

"a baby" Pidge replied with a small nervous smile and Shiro moth dropped slightly.

"where did you get a baby from in the middle of space" Shiro asked slightly in shock.

"well i notice the ship was gonna self distrust and went to find you but as i heard the galra commander and soldiers escape in the pods, i also heard a cry coming from a shipment box. I found the baby inside with a note, begging someone on the planet to look after the child" pidge replied and shiro walked over pulling the blanket of the baby face.

"its galra" Shiro frowned as he looked to the light purple skin, with dark purple hair and cat like ears baby in pidge arms. He looked into the curious yellow eyes that looked to him. 

"he still just a baby who will die if we leave him here" Pidge snapped back making shiro turn to her.

"we cant just take a baby with us pidge, we paladins of voltron fighting a war and that child is part of the enemy" Shiro hugged back. 

"he coming with us shiro, he only a baby not our enemy" Pidge yelled back. 

"Katie" Shiro frowned as she glared at him. 

"please shiro" Pidge begged with pleading eyes.

"we take it to the castle but then we hand it over to the blades to take care off" Shiro sighed and Pidge grinned. 

"why, you always wanted a son" Pidge replied with a slight smirk as they ran towards the location of the black lion. 

"yeah in the future not in the middle of a war" Shiro snapped back glancing to the girl carrying the child. 

"well life is never easy, shiro" Pidge smirked back making him turn to her.

"did you just give me a life talk" Shiro asked surprised and Pidge just laughed.

"yep and we keeping him" Pidge smiled as they reached the black lion. 

"looking after a baby isn't easy and we dont even know how to care for a galra baby" Shiro frowned as they walked into the black lion, him soon sitting in the chair before flying out. 

"we can just look it up in the castle of lions, i think we make great parents" Pidge smiled softly as she looked to the small baby in her arms.

"we, oh no you wanted him you can look after him" Shiro replied as he flew into the castle of lions.

"we both know you would help me even if your acting cold right now" Pidge sighed and walked out of the black lion with shiro. 

"i hate it when your right sometimes" Shiro frowned and Pidge giggled. 

"now time to talk with allura and the others about our son" Pidge smiled brightly.

"you can tell them and he needs a name" Shiro replied.

"sure i can fight with allura while you tell the other paladins" Pidge grinned.

"fight" Shiro asked with worry.

"we both know allura wouldn't agree with this and she start using her princess power act trying to win but i wont lose to her act" Pidge replied and passed the baby to shiro who held him carefully and unsure. 

"i still think we should hand him over to the blades" Shiro mumbled.

"if you want to give him away then you can do it yourself" Pidge huffed back crossing her arms and Shiro looked to the galra baby in his arms. 

"Galaxy" Shiro smiled gently and Pidge turned to him.

"it suits him" Pidge smiled sweetly and stroked the baby cheek making him giggle.

"welcome to the paladins family, Galaxy" Shiro smiled softly and poke galaxy nose making the small baby giggle. 

"i think your gonna make a good dad" Pidge smiled brightly as she looked to shiro as he held Galaxy.

"d-dad" Shiro blushed and looked to the shorter paladin.

"yeah, we found him so we his new parents. We going to be a good family to him" Pidge smiled softly.

"so your the mum" Shiro smirked and Pidge blushed. 

"i guess i am now, why got a problem being my partner" Pidge asked with a small grin and lifted her eyebrow. 

"no problem at all, i think we make a good married couple one day but please let us wait until the future for that one" Shiro replied with a gentle smile and Pidge laughed.

"sure, we wait until the war over before getting married" Pidge smiled and the two walked towards the control room to break the news.
