He knew he was turning fully galra, he could feel it. 

He wouldn't lie, he was terrified of becoming full galra. 

He notice it a couple weeks again when his anger started to leak out without him knowing and he started losing his cool a little more then he would normally. 

Then he couldn't hold his strength and nearly injured his fellow paladins more then he wanted. 

But the last point was when he notice part of his skin slowly turning purple. It started with his feet and grew up his legs. 

He was lucky enough to be able to hide it but now it started on his hands slowly going up his arm and he couldn't hide it anymore. 

Coran did tests and had no clue what was happening to the red paladin making him worry and panic even more while the other paladins thought over the news they were just given. 

He started hiding in his room or stay in the training room to keep his anger controlled as much as he could. The others kept a distant knowing they just make him worse if they got close but they felt bad for leaving him alone. 

Well a certain green paladin and broke the rules. She crawled around in the vents, knowing the training room and his room vents were screw shut meaning it would take him a while to break into the vents and kill her by mistake. 

At first she just sated laying in the vents watching him not sure if she should try talking with him or just lay here in case she was needed. A couple weeks past and she still didnt speak a word towards him while hiding in the vents. She wanted to speak but she didnt want to make him worse or for him to become scared of himself even more. 

But when she heard him whimper in his sleep, she crawled into the vents from her room and headed to his room that sat next door. She slightly cursed since she was half awake and finally made it to the open vent that showed his room. She looked around not seeing him and wonder if he left the room already. But then she let a slight yelp out as someone pulled her out of the vent in seconds. A black leather fingerless glove hand placed over her mouth and even if the hand was now purple with sharp claws she new it was Keith by his warmth. 

"why" he snapped and slowly lowered his hand placing it on her chest slightly while his other hand was tightly holding her hip.

"why what" She asked unsure and went to glance at him but his free hand moved up taking her chin and turning her to keep looking forward. 

"why have you been watching me, what are you guys planning" He growled and she closed her eyes in shame. He knew she was there all along, why wouldn't he after all he has his galra senses now and sneaking up on him was impossible. Why did she even think she could watch him without trying to make him panic, now he a mess becuase she wasn't able to speak up. 

"sorry" She whispered not noticing his ears twitching. 

"Pidge" he asked in a small voice.

"I just didnt want to leave you alone but i wasn't able to speak up and just say hi, so i stayed in the vents just laying in case you needed someone. I didnt think about the opposite effects it might have on you" She frowned and her eyes fell to the ground. 

"you didnt want to leave me" he asked surprised, his yellow eyes looking at her sadden figure. 

"yes, i was worried about you. I knew i should have listened to you and the others but i just couldn't not see you. I wanted you to know your not alone but i guess i just made it worse" She mumbled and his grip loosened on her hip. 

"you didnt, I felt calm when i knew you were just behind the vent. I missed seeing you but i was scared of hurting you" He whispered and spin her around so she faced him.

"you did" She asked stunned.

"yes pidge, I was going crazy with not being close to you but i was so scared i could harm you and if i did hurt you then i could never forgive myself" Keith frowned and looked to the floor while his hands held her hips. 

"you could never hurt me Keith" She smiled softly and placed her hands on his cheeks.

"i dont have control" he warned.

"you could never harm me, I know you have a good heart Keith and you could never harm someone important to you" She smiled sweetly.

"I'm a monster" Keith hissed.

"everyone has a beast within Keith but you have a beauty in your beast" She smiled softly.

"and that beauty is one of the reasons why i love you" She smiled warmly with a blush on her cheeks. 

"you love me" He mutter with a blush on his cheeks, his ears standing tall and his yellow eyes widen. 

"yes, I'm madly in love with you Keith" She spoke with love in her hazel eyes.

"i love you Katie" he smiled warmly and pulled her close before joining their lips in a sweet loving kiss.
