"wait i just thought of something but while Pidge was undercover, she was dating herself" Hunk mumbled as the paladins all sat in the lounge just chilling after a small battle.

"so your actually single pidge" Keith replied and pidge looked up from her halo.

"no, i have a boyfriend on earth" Pidge mutter before looking back to her halo.

"its ok pidgin, you dont need to lie over having a lover or not. I mean we all mostly single here" Lance grinned and ruffle her hair.

"no i really do have a boyfriend, shiro and matt even approved him" Pidge replied and looked up to see everyone look at her stunned.

"oh wait so you were still dating that guy when you went undercover" Shiro mumbled surprised.

"yeah, he cocky but a good guy" Pidge smiled sweetly. 

"no way, tell us everything" Hunk smiled and rested his head in his hands while his elbows rested in his legs.

"wow I'm in shock, Matt and i was so sure he would cheat on you once we left for space. But i guess he was a good guy" Shiro smiled and Pidge eyes sadden making Lance start to worry.

"anyway as much as i would love to share my stories, I'm sure i rather not" Pidge smirked and stood up.

"well i guess everyone dose keep some secrets over their relationships" Keith slightly smirked and Pidge just giggled before walking out the room. 

"Did anyone else notice that" Lance asked with worry for his shorter friend but the others seemed confused over what he meant making him just wave it off as nothing. 

A year passed and everyone was busy with the war but to make things worse, a certain someone was dealing with heart break after seeing Lotor and Allura flirt. 

The now red paladin sat in the open room used by the paladins to look at the stars when they wanted a starry night. He sat down, fighting his tears as he looked to the stars wondering why she didnt chose him. He might be flirty but he was a good guy inside and was willing to die for her. He never tried to kill her or harm her like lotor and yet she was giving the galra prince love eyes. 

He didnt notice a certain green paladin enter the small room after seeing Lance walk past her lion hanger looking like he was about to break. She sat beside him, glancing to see he was holding back his tears. She softly smiled before picking up his arm placing it around her shoulder before leaning into his side wrapping her arms around his waste. She felt him tense before calming.

"You know, some say the moon lost a lover to earth long ago. She shines each night trying to light up the path for him to return to her. But he was trapped on earth forever and could only stand looking at her shine each night. But they never gave up hope of seeing each other becuase she knew, he would always love him no matter how many years pass" Pidge spoke in a soft voice, noticing Lance grip tighten around her as he let his tears fall.

"i might not be the moon and you might not be a fallen star but when you fall, I'll always shine over you until you can return to your shining self" Pidge whispered with a warm smile and felt Lance pull her closer while he cried.

"thanks Pidgin" Lance cried and the two sat in silence just hugging while he cried. After awhile Lance clamed down and they sat just holding each other in a simple peace and comfort. Pidge notice lance breathing was normal again and was glad she could help but she knew he was still hurting and wanted to heal him.

"Your boyfriend really lucky to have you" Lance mutter with a small smile, still holding her close. 

"He cheated on me as soon as Matt and Shiro left for space. Once my protective brothers weren't around he started seeing other girls and only dated me since i was a Holt. I caught him non stop and broke up with him, he only begged me to give him another chance becuase it ruin his repatriation. When i suddenly left for the garrison as pidge, i heard he was dating the popular girl in my old class. I was too ashamed to admit it when you guys asked last year since i hoped for him to love me even just a little" Pidge mutter in a small voice and Lance turned to his head to glance down at her.

"he sounds like a jerk and an idiot, he missed out on a perfect girl who is saving the universe right now" Lance smiled gently and pushed some of pidge hair behind her ear.

"exactly, we saving the universe right now and if she cant see how amazing Lance McClain a paladin of voltron is then its her lost. Your a great guy lance and anyone would be lucky to have you by their side forever. So, stand proud becuase i know your worth more then you know" Pidge smiled softly as she lifted her head to look into his surprised ocean blue eyes.

"you really believe in me" Lance asked stunned.

"yes and i will always believe in the tailor" Pidge smirked and Lance chuckled.

"yeah, i guess i haven't been much of the tailor in space" Lance grinned and Pidge giggled.

"wanna go get a milkshake and play games until shiro yells at us" Pidge asked with a bright smile.

"i would like that" Lance grinned and the two stood up before walking away.
