The war was over, the paladins retired and started their own new futures. 

The lions were gone and resting, waiting for the new paladins to need them. 

Peace was given to all.

Happiness was given back.

Freedom Stayed. 

Coran wife was brought back to life and he now had twin daughters, Polly and Molly. 

Hunk was married to shay and was expecting his son in a couple months.

Shiro was married and looked after the Atlas, checking to make sure Peace was kept. 

Keith was with the B.O.M and seemed to be getting very close to Romelle, dating close.

Lance was working on his farm and even met someone, his heart still loved Allura but he was moving on to someone who brighten his world once again. 

Matt, he married N-7 and had two children. A son Micky and a daughter Milly. 

Pidge well she wasn't married nor did she have a love life but she did have her lab at the garrison. 

He walked the halls, another late night from marking his class tests. He didnt mind teaching children how to fight and how to flew normal jets in hopes of some learning to fly the MFE jets one day. He enjoyed working at the garrison and teaching the future soldiers on everything he thinks should be known and needed. 

But as he walked the dark empty halls he notice certain lab lights on again. He knew she was working late yet again, she always did. He knew she wasn't a morning person but would stay up for hours in the nights working. Sometimes she would be fixing tech that other teachers or soldier might have broke and just passed to her to fit knowing she would. 

He worried about her often and well he knew she wouldn't listen to anything she would say. He thought of telling her friends but they all had their own lives now and couldn't try and control her. Plus he found her a little cute when she was lost into her work. 

He smiled to himself as he passed the lab seeing her in the middle of fixing a space gun and his legs picked up the pace as he headed towards the small staff break room. He made two hot chocolates before walking back to her lab.

He snuck up behind her before placing a cup down on her desk, making sure not to spill his own cup when she jumped at his chest bumping into her back. A small blush on her cheeks as she notice it was him bringing his famous hot chocolate that he only ever made for her and himself. She never told anyone he would make her some too since everyone would be jealous. 

She gave a soft smile and watched him stand to the side leaning on her desk slightly while holding his own cup of hot chocolate. He smiled back before sipping his drink and she picked up her own cup enjoying the warmth. 

"late night" He asked with a gentle smile and glanced to her.

"yep, a teacher broke a student project that due this morning. The teacher would give the student the grade needed but she needs to grade them before the class and if she gave them a grade without their project being there then some might report her over favouriteness. The student needs to pass her class anyway if they want to become an engineer in the garrison so the teacher must have this project fixed" she explained and he just nodded.

"well, how much do you have left" He asked as he looked to the mini jet before her. 

"just got to finishing painting the jet, then test it" She smiled slightly and glanced to the jet.

"I'll help, i finish all my stuff and was gonna head home" He mumbled and placed his cup down before getting a spare stool she keeps in her lab. 

"thanks but go home, i heard about the hid nearly crashing the jet during your class. You need rest" She replied with worry.

"so do you, now let me help or I'll just sit here and watch" He warned and she rolled her eyes.

"you can do the jets symbol since i can only to the basics when painting" She mutter and he grinned before picking up a paint brush. 

They spent two hours finishing the painting and making jokes before yelling at each other not to laugh while doing painting. They talked and teased the other before cheering as they finished the project. Both finishing their now cold hot chocolates before carefully carrying the project to the teacher classroom and leaving it beside other projects. 

They walked the dark halls, feeling the tiredness from both their long days and once they reached her lab she pulled him to a sofa she keeps in the corner. Throwing a fluffy white blanket at him before grabbing a fluffy green one for herself they sat down. He yelp as she pushed him to lay down and tensed as she crawled onto. She snuggle into his chest before falling asleep. He smiled warmly while a blush laid on his cheeks before he placed his arm around her and falling asleep. 

The two was woken up by five camra flashes. 

James opened his eyes smiling softly as he notice pidge still cuddle up to him with her arms slightly hugging him. She looked so peaceful in his arms and he couldn't help but blush but when a small fake cough was heard he tensed. 

Lance, Matt, Hunk, Keith and even shiro stood holding their phones with grins or smirks as they took photos of the sleeping two, or well did before James awake. 

"its the ex paladin, rebels and MFE meet up today .. remember" Hunk smiled kindly as they all put their phones away acting like they didnt just take tons of photos. 

"We came to get pidge thinking she overwork herself again but we came and found you two sleeping in her lab .. wanna explain" Matt asked with a slight smirk as he placed his hands on his hips.

"long day yesterday and well we finished up a student broken project early this morning and passed out" James mumbled as he looked to the group.

"no, we want to know about the soft smiles you both held was snuggling in your sleep ... oh and the blush on your cheeks while looking at her" Keith smirked and crossed his arms while James blushed again at being caught.

"well um ya know" James mutter embarrassed and the five laughed.

"piss off .. five more minutes ya pricks" Pidge grumbled and snuggle into James chest more. 

"Pidge, is the paladins and your brother" James spoke in a small voice and Pidge sleepily opened her eyes, looking at James then at the paladins and her brothers before looking at how she was laying. 

"shit" Pidge groaned making her brother and friends laugh.

"morning" Shiro smiled as  the two sat up before standing.

"how much teasing will i get" Pidge asked rubbing her eyes.

"how much are you blushing" Lance grinned back.
