Keith and lance was dating, they have been ever since high school. 

Lance was the flirty cool kid while Keith was a grumpy loner who hanged out with his childhood friend Pidge. 

Keith fell in love with lance and well pidge did everything in her power to help her friend with his love life. She blackmailed lance friends into planning a meet up but made sure they never went while she would force Keith to come hang out but ditch him with Lance who suddenly was ditch for no reason or so they thought. Pidge kept pushing the two together when she could and help cheer Keith on.

She did everything in her power to help their relationship happen becuase she loved Keith. 

She always loved Keith but he hated the falling in love crap and was happy just having his childhood friend with him all his life. So she sacrifice her own love to make Keith love come true. 

The two males started dating and Pidge was pushed to the side more, until she rarely hang with them anymore. She stayed a loser, a loner with no friends while Keith joined the cool kids and lived happy while dating lance. 

The collage came, Lance and Keith got their own flat together and pidge got a single flat on the other side of town. She was planning to move in with Keith since they planned being roommates during collage since forever but she became forgotten as they dated. 

But as the two lived together problems came along. They would fight daily over silly or stupid things making them walk out often. Lance was his still flirty self while Keith still wasn't good around strangers making them class in collage, meaning they hid the face they were dating.

Then they just seemed to only fight when at home and Pidge notice Keith sitting on the corner of their collage and knew he had a fight with lance. She smiled softly before grabbing his hand and dragging him to her house. She still had some of his old clothes he use to leave at her house during sleep overs and threw them at him before pushing him into the bathroom to shower and dress. 

Pidge was happy to speak and see Keith again without it being one sided. She always kept her eyes on him from a distant during collage and well she knew Keith better then herself. She knew when he was having a bad time and when he had a fight with lance but never got the chance to try and talk with him.

She stayed hiding in the shadows becuase she still loved him.

Now every time Keith had a fight with lance, he would come to her flat. He kept a couple things at her small flat and they shared a bed. Only did real sleeping in the bed since they shared beds in the past and trusted the other to not go past the friendship line. Two years passed and collage was coming to an end soon. But so was Keith and lance, they had a huge fight over Keith finding Lance in bed with another chick making love to her. He ran off not even listening to lance excuse this time and went straight to pidge. 

He felt calmer and felt safe with pidge. He felt she understood him and wouldn't treat him like a freak or weird and she never did. They ordered Pizza while watching cheesy alien films. Talking and laughing during the films while just enjoying the night with the other. Keith didnt even think of lance once and felt at peace beside pidge. His phone buzzed but he just turned it off before turning back to pidge and putting another film on.
