He didnt understand why he needed to marry. Well he knew why but he was still just a prince. His father still the king of the galra and was living on as strong as ever. The prince knew no matter who he married or love they would die long before he became king. 

So, why was his father forcing him to marry. He hasn't even heard of the women he would marry nor has he met her yet. But now he was flying to his father main ship to go meet his bride. He felt it was wired that she was on his father ship since only soldiers and the witch would have access on the ship. Maybe she was a soldier, maybe his father saw her as strong and power ... he didnt know, he just been stuck guessing. 

He reached his father ship and walked to the throne room, bowing as he reached the bottom of the steps. 

"Lotor, I will leave your bride under your care until the marriage is complete" Zarkon ordered as he looked to his half breed son.

"yes father but why i must i marry all of a sudden" Lotor asked he looked to his father who smirked.

"go fetch the bride, make sure to bring her as she is" Zarkon ordered a couple soldiers who nodded before walking away. 

"father, who is my bride and why must i marry" Lotor asked again but Zarkon just ignored his son questions.

"sire" Haggar spoke as she bow before dragging someone in by their chains. There arms and feet was changed together along with a chain around their neck. Taking small careful steps as they limped, trying to not be strangled to death. Fresh wounds and bruise's placed all over her body and the prison uniform was ripped apart over barely covering her important parts. Dirty and blood was spread over her injured body and face but there was still fire in her eyes. 

"the green paladin" Lotor whispered in horror as haggar pulled on the chain making her fall to the floor with a thud before glaring. 

"fight me" She growled as she sent a deadly glare towards Zarkon. 

"still not learned any manners i see, you should show respect towards your king" Zarkon frowned and stood up walking towards her before hitting her.

"your no king of mine" She smirked before spitting blood at his armour. 

"why you" Haggar hissed before zapping the green paladin.

"go to hell" She screamed and hit haggar with her chained arms. 

"enough" Zarkon yelled making the room tense. 

"you wouldn't want your paladins friends knowing your life is in my hands would you, I'm sure they would come rushing to save the female of the group. Then all i would need to do is kill them as they stand in horror before your limped body" Zarkon smirked and Pidge glared to him.

"i will kill you" She warned as she stood up but glanced to Lotor in surprise and unsure.

"well soon you will be calling me father in law, you shall marry my son and i will watch voltron crumble from the inside" Zarkon grinned and she fell pale in horror at the news. 

"this is the bride you are forcing me to marry, the green paladin our enemy" Lotor replied in shock as he turned to his father.

"take care not to kill us, i do need her alive as she marries you and for my future plan" Zarkon replied before walking back to the throne and Haggar passed the chains to Lotor.
