"Lotor" Katie smiled brightly as she ran over towards the galra prince. 

"Hey Katie" Lotor smiled gently as he looked to the altean child  who was only three years younger them himself. 

"I found a secret book about a planet called Earth, wanna read it with me or would you rather go bond with your girlfriend" Katie smiled sweetly before using a teasing tone over the word girlfriend making Lotor blush.

"i am not dating the princess" Lotor mumbled back embarrassed by his friend teasing.

"well not yet but she does have her eyes set on you" Katie grinned as they started walking towards the castle. 

Lotor was the only child by zarkon and was the crowned prince. He had light purple skin and was tall but strong. He had short white hair and purple eyes. Lotor was ten years old, he was trained daily to fight and rule but he had a good heart. He enjoyed space and learning news things, that why he loved hanging with his childhood friend Katie.

Katie was short for her age but smart. She had pale skin and green altean markings. She had long hazel hair and hazel eyes with cute freckles over her cheeks and nose. Katie was seven years old.  She lived in the castle with her older brother matt who looked just like her apart from no freckles. Their parents worked close with Alfor and that how she met with Lotor, he visits often and they got talking one day. 

"you really think Allura would like me" Lotor asked as they walked, leaving King Zarkon to walk alone behind. 

"why wouldn't she like you" Katie asked as she glanced to the older boy.

"well she gorgeous and all, I'm just me" Lotor mumbled as he looked to the ground.

"just me, that is so stupid" Katie replied as she hit his arm shocking the prince.

"s-stupid" Lotor mutter.

"yeah, your smart, brave, funny, cool, kind, loyal, trustworthy and well your cute. Who wouldn't fall in love with you" Katie smiled softly and turned to Lotor who cheeks turned rosy.

"thanks Katie" Lotor smiled sweetly and Katie just nodded with a giggle while they reached the castle.

"i knew i would find you here" Lotor smirked as he leaned in a doorway to a small lab. He was now fifteen and his hair ended at his shoulders. 

"i thought you were arriving tomorrow not tonight" Katie asked surprise as she turned away from what she was working on. She was now twelve years old and just got her own little lab this year. 

"my father is arriving in the morning but i decided to leave this morning, hence i only just arrived tonight" Lotor replied as he walked towards her.

"you should have sent word, i would have came and met you off the ship" Katie pouted and Lotor chuckled.

"well i wanted to surprise you for once" Lotor smiled gently and pushed some of her hair behind her ear.

"its good to see you again Lotor" Katie smiled sweetly and her hazel eyes met his purple ones.
