"are all humans this small" he asked as he looked her over.

"says the talking grape" She huffed back, crossing her arms.

"grape" He asked confused while she just giggled.

"well maybe if you stopped trying to kill us all the time, i could tell you about earths ways" She replied with a small smile and notice him chuckle.

"but if i stopped trying to kill you all the time, how would i get to see such amusing reactions from you" He replied with a smirk and lifted her chin so their eyes met.

"well wouldn't you be able to see all my strange habits up close if we were allies instead of enemies" She grinned while her eyes shined. 

"even the habits no one else know about" He asked in a flirty tone as he leaned closer.

"well that depends, will i need to shoot you" She whispered with a teasing smirk as she pushed her Bayard to his gut.

"depends, can i kiss you" He mutter as his eyes sparkle while she blushed.

"Depends" She mumbled before he pushed his lips to hers, sharing a sweet kiss making them both shiver as sparks flew within their bodies. 

Both slowly opening their eyes as their lips pulled apart. Hazel eyes met with purple as both had a blush over their cheeks. Neither saying a word yet felt like they said everything. Warm smiles on their lips as the knew the other felt the same.

Both turned as they heard the roars of the lions and galra ships firing. Frowns filling their lips as they knew they had to leave and yet neither wanted to move. They slowly turned to the other, surprise to find the other wanting to stay. 

"stay" she whispered as she held her hand out to him, time seemed to stop for them both.

"i wish i could" He mutter as he looked to her hand. 

"lets go home" She smiled softly, his eyes filling wish shock by her words. 

"i would be lost if you left me alone but I'm sorry" He replied as he stepped back.

"Please" She pleaded as tears filled her eyes. 

"hold on" He mutter as he looked to her teary face, he love her too much to let her cry.

"i still need you" She begged and time seemed to start again as a shot came flying towards them, the green lion stopping in the way to protect her paladin. 

"I'm not that strong" He whispered in shame.

"lets go home" She whispered once more, a soft smile as she stepped forward taking his hand in hers. 

"just take my hand, i will make this right and i sware to love you all my life" She spoke in her soft sweet voice, a warm smile on her lips with her teary eyes filled with love for him and him alone. 

"hold on, i still need you, baby lets go home" He smiled warmly as he held her hand tighter, she cried as he said the words she always wanted to hear from him. 

The war might have been going on but neither cared becuase they found someone who was worth the pain. 

A future where both could belong together and share a love only they knew off. 

But Fate wasn't playing their song as a galra ship came crashing down.

He held her tight as the force blew them away.

She opened her eyes, ignoring all pain over her body as she looked for him

He laid on the ground looking so peaceful, a drip of blood on the edge of his lips.

"come back, i still need you" She cried as she held his cold limp hand tight.
