Human race was growing and changing for the better. But some still made the same mistakes and some mistakes would change the world forever.

A science experiment went wrong creating a new type of living creature. The beasts is what they were nicknames as they were truly deadly creatures.

They lived in packs and was too wild for the human race to control. Now the human race lives in fear and they fight to survive. But the human race wouldn't go down without a fight and rebels bases was made to fight back the beasts making peace return to earth.

Each rebel giving a blade that made with a drop of their blood in a special machine. Only their blood blade could injury or kill a beast. New Armour was invented that stayed strong even against the beasts claws and teeth.

This was the human race last fight for survival.

Katie Holt was the daughter of Sam and Colleen holt who was the scientist who made these beasts. They were looking for a cure to save their son Matt holt but created monsters by mistake.   

Katie Holt was the last Holt left alive and travelled alone, killing any beasts that came her way as a way to repent for her family causing the end of the world. She left Katie Holt behind with her family and became Pidge Gunderson. 

A short boy with short soft hazel hair that ended at her shoulders. Her pretty hazel eyes and cute freckles hidden by her brother nerdy glasses. She walked alone with her given blade by a small group of rebels who died trying to fight back the beasts when they first attacked. 

She walked alone until she met a strange boy only two months after the end of the world.

She found him tied to a tree branch just swaying in the air while his long legs kicked trying to wiggle out of the rope. Pidge looked to him slightly surprise before giggling at how stupid he looked. Big mistake becuase the guy heard her giggle and turned to her with pleading eyes. 

She climbed up the tree and cut the rope making him fall to the ground with a thud but he was alive so no worries. She jumped down and started walking again after glancing to the stranger, he didnt seem much older then her but she knew it was best to stay alone. If she was alone no one else would die around her and she wouldn't need to share her guilty burden of some many being killed. 

"wait" He called as he stood up and ran after her before grabbing her shoulder. He was tall and thin with a light tan. He had chocolate brown hair and beautiful ocean blue eyes.

"i only saved you becuase i dont want to see anyone else died, dont think we friends" Pidge muttered as she turned to him. 

"thank you" He smiled brightly shocking her slightly.

"please, dont thank me" She frowned as she looked away. 

"well if you didnt come along then i would have been eaten by one of those beasts. I owe you my life shorty" He grinned and ruffle her hair thinking pidge just a little boy.
