"EARTH" Lance and Pidge cheered as soon as they landed their lions after the battle with Sendak and the strange robotic beast that tried to kill them. The other three paladins, shiro and everyone on the atlas all looked to the green and now red paladin in surprise. Both looked completely warn out and slightly dead from the battle yet they cheering on the base over Earth. 

"not my turn" was all hunk said as he wobble out of the yellow lion looking to his friends Lance and Pidge. 

"not mine, i did it when we had to make that stop on whatever planet it was" Keith mumbled as he weakly stood out of the black lion, feeling everything from the battle.

"I'm just too tired to understand where they suddenly got their energy from" Allura groaned as she stepped out of the blue lion.

"well we couldn't cheer when we first landed before of Sendak remember, we finally back on earth .. our home we been away from for three years. We made it, even if we still have to go back out to space to finish the war" Lance grinned over the coms making everyone slightly smiled.

"we did it guys, we returned to earth alive" Pidge smiled brightly and the paladins all smiled while atlas looked at shiro and the other four human paladins with pride and joy. 

"well lets go get heal up and then we can do a group hug" Shiro smiled over the coms and everyone gave weak thumbs up.

"hey, you two ok" James asked over the com as he notice Lance and Pidge wobble a bit.

"we feeling the battle now the excitement is done" Lance mutter over the com weakly as his body felt weak. 

"we might need a medic" Pidge mutter before pain filled her body before she and lance passed out.

"Pidge, Lance" everyone yelled over the coms.

"we need medics now" Matt yelled over the com as he started running with shiro soon behind him.  

Medics took care of the injured Paladins and took them to the garrison hospital ward. Their families all sat by their children sides while they slept in a coma like state. Coran and Romelle sat beside Allura bed and Shiro took turns visiting them all during the days while also taking care of the paperwork. 

After a couple days all give paladins woke up, they all felt a little stiff and still had slight pain but they were mostly healed. Of course their families and loved ones jumped at them giving them a tight hug without mercy making the paladins start crying from the pain. After another day they were released from the hospital, well pidge and Keith forced the doctors to let them go and helped their friends be let off once they notice they didnt enjoy being in hospital either.  But then again Pidge did spend the night when she wasn't bugging the doctors with Lance in his room. He frowned at her not resting but didnt mind staying up with her as they talked and talking of their own future plans.  

Pidge was walking towards a meeting that didnt start until another hour but she had nothing else to do and wanted to check the info she set up to make sure she had no mistakes. She got matt and her parents to check it last night but she still wanted to check once more. But as she was walking thinking away, she bumped into someone.
