He ran as fast as his legs could, his lunch begging for air while he kept pushing himself to go faster. Sliding round corners before rushing into the control room. His black hair stuck to his neck and the side of his face by sweat since he was training when he got the call. His purple eyes filled with panic and fear as he scanned the room for a certain paladin. His blade uniform was the only clean and clam thing about him right now.

"where pidge" He asked with worry and unease as he walked over to where the others stood. 

"yikes man, calm down your making it look like someone die" Lance replied as the others turned to him.

"where is she" he growled and grabbed Lance by the collar.

"she fine, she just locked herself up in the green hanger. Apparently Allura was wondering about seeing if anyone else could pilot the green or yellow line in case pidge or hunk got hurt and well the two paladins went on strike and locked themselves up in their lion hangers. She fine" Shiro replied with a calm smile and placed a hand on Keith shoulder, watching him calm after hearing she was ok. 

"thank god, i thought something happened after Coran call" Keith mutter and glared at a nervous Coran.

"I'm sorry, i was freaking out while trying to think of someone to help us get pidge to un-strike. She even made Hunk go on strike over him not wanting to give up the yellow lion and well i notice the team photo of you two laughing  while side hugging and i just called" Coran explained and Keith took a deep breath.

"i didnt think pidge or hunk would lose their cool over finding new paladins. Its not like we were going to replace them, it was just a back up if they ever got hurt" Allura frowned. 

"green hanger" Keith sighed and glance to Shiro.

"green hanger, she should be inside her lion" Shiro replied and Keith nodded before walking off. 

"so, can we save the image of a freak out Keith forever" Lance grinned.

"yes, that truly surprised me" Allura mutter. 

"dont forget he can kill us, so maybe lets not bring this up again" Coran sighed. 

"i ship it" Shiro grinned as he crossed his arms. 

Keith walked down the halls, a fast but steady pace since his legs felt warn out after running so much. He made his way to the green lion hanger doors and stood outside. He walked over to the panel and type in a special code pidge gave him making the doors open. He locked the doors once more after he was inside and walked over to the green lion.

"Pidge" He called as he looked to the green lion, he knew she was inside and could see him. 

"dont make me climb in" Keith warned as he crossed his arms, he done it before and he do it again. 

"Keith" She mutter and he felt shivers. She always called his name like it was a bad word and he loved it. Only she called his name in such a way and he felt like he belong to her and her alone. 

He stepped into the green lion once pidge let him inside. He walked towards the head before seeing her sitting down with an alien movie on the screen. A small smile on his lips as she would be the one to go on strike and watch alien movies in her lions while everyone else freaked out. He notice a screen open linking to the yellow lion and hunk was sleeping soundly, he guessed pidge muted the chat otherwise she would hear his snores. 

"hey" He smiled slightly as he sat on the arm of the pilot chair.

"hi" She smiled sweetly, turning to look at him. 

"strike" He asked with a smirk and she giggled.

"me and green are very happy together and i wont let matt or Coran touch my lion" Pidge mutter back as she crossed her arms. 

"wait Coran ... as the green paladin" Keith asked surprised.

"yep, Allura thinks either Coran or Matt could fill my role if i got hurt or worse" Pidge replied and Keith frowned at the thought of pidge being badly harmed or even die. 

"yikes, no wonder you went on strike. Mind if i join you" Keith asked and Pidge grinned.

"well it wouldn't be a good strike the arms of voltron bonding together once more" Pidge grinned and Keith chuckled. 

"so the movie any good" Keith asked looking at the screen seeing English subtitles. 

"its a chick flick but it got an ok story line, sadly i can only get English subtitles to work with my hacking skills instead of using a translator speaker" Pidge mumbled back.

"its still cool you hacked it to translate the subtitles to English" Keith replied impressed.

"well you know me, hacking anything i can for any reason" Pidge joked and the two laughed. 

"hey pidge" Keith mutter as he turned, looking into her hazel eyes.

"Keith" She asked, he felt the exciting shivers once more as she spoke his name like a bad word. 

"marry me" Keith whispered without thinking and soon the two became a blushing mess.

"w-why d-dont we j-just go o-on a d-date f-first i-idiot" Pidge stutter in a blushing mess

"sure" Keith smiled gently.

"but after the strike" Pidge smiled softly and Keith chuckled.

"why dont we make this strike as our date ... i did sneak in snacks" Keith grinned and wiggle a bag of food.

"your the best future husband ever" Pidge cheered.
