BountyHunters AU The hermits are bounty hunters but make sure to never go after innocent people. They do background checks on clients and victims and if they deem fit- will deny a contract unless money is very low.
Runaway Mages In a world where certain people are born with magic, they are killed if they are caught or used as weapons by the military. The Hermits are a group of runaways who's tick together no matter what. I got a bit of world building on this already oops-
Shifter AU People in the world are known as 'Shifters' and are given a form they can shift from human into. There are certain ways to stop a Shifter from shifting but those are violent and can cause major damage. Not everyone is a Shifter.
Small Town, Big Secrets AU The Hermits all live in a small town in the middle of the woods. Grian moves in with Mumbo and Iskall and things start going strange after the rules everyone follows- 'Never go out after dark' 'Stay away from the mansion on the hill' 'And never stray from the path in the woods'
Puppet AU In this universe magic exists and a select few can create life as long as they have a 'shell'. While Cub has friends he is lonely as he kinda isolates himself from them, but he can make life. So he makes a puppet and brings it to life. Things go wrong and the puppet has a lot of scratches on the wood au Cub calls the puppet Scar.
