     EPILOGUE

I still remember when I first saw her at the backyard of our house. She was smiling from ear to ear while wishing for a little butterfly to not to die.

"Bubbly, please don't die!" She said while pouting, "I will plant a lot of trees here so that you could live a long life."

I was just there while looking at her from a far. She looks so innocent and pure with her white floral dress. Her innocent eyes and face made her look more beautiful in my eyes.

Napailing ako. Damn, she's just 13 years old for pete sake Jaxon. She's too young, maybe I'm just caught off on how beautiful she is.

"Yo, man." My older brother greeted me with a wide grin, sinilip niya ang tinitignan ko. "What are looking at?" He asked.

I hurriedly shifted my gaze to the other side, I rolled my eyes in irritation.

"You're looking on that little Fortugues, aren't you?" Halata sa tingin niya ang pang-aasar kaya mas lalo akong nainis.

"No way!" Mabilis kong tanggi dito, his wide grinned told me he's not convince on what I said. Napailing ako.

But then he became serious. Napatingin ako sa kuya ko na malayo ang tingin ngayon. Mahina niyang tinapik tapik ang braso ko.

My 17 years old mind was confused. Why does my brother looks so sad about it?

"You can't like her." Naiiling niyang sambit, "You are meant to marry Cassi, she's beautiful and at the same age as you. That Fortugues little girl is too young to be your wife in future tho."

"I don't like her, she's too young." Bulong ko sa hangin.

"Jaxon, do you know who's that girl?" Rinig kong tanong ni Jonas na nasa tabi ko, I was busy playing video games.

"Who?" I asked without looking at him.

He removed my headphone. Then pointed someone which is really familiar on me. This can't be the Fortugues girl that is always playing around our backyard right?

"I like her, she's cute." Nakangisi nitong saad, "What do you think? Isn't cute and bubbly at her age?"

Umiling ako bago mariing kinuyom ang aking mga palad. He like my girl? But then I licked my lips and smirked.

"She's not." Bulong ko.

Tinatak ko sa isipan ko na gusto siya ni Jonas. My feelings is not that matter. She's just a girl, Jonas is my cousin and we were too young to like someone.

But the fact that we have the same taste in everything made it all sense.

I watched her grow like a flower that I planted. I made sure that no one would dared to touch her nor get near on her.

Ngunit habang tumatagal, unti unti kong naunawaan kung ano ang nais sabihin ng kuya ko. She can't never be mine because she was meant for every precious things, she's shining like a diamond.

I tried to move on and forget about her, but every steps I taken, I ended up coming back to her. Her smile, laugh and everything she did without excerting efforts could made me fall real hard. I could able to get up.
