I wonder where they are.
"Mang Rene. Una na po kami." Devin called when he saw Mang Rene drinking coffee, in front of the cafe and bar.
Maybe some other vacation, Carrie and I already talked through the phone. Aalis na rin po kasi ako."
"Ganoon ba? He went to the back of the driver's seat, while I occupied right seat near the window.
Devin held his hand just like the first time that I had a trip in this vehicle.
He immediately nodded and shut the door again. Nagtipa ako ng numero at hinintay na sagutin.
"Oh?" It was Kuya Reschian. Hindi ko pa siya nakakausap nang maayos. He had this mad aura ever since that incident. I can't blame him. He got fond of Devin's presence. Who wouldn't anyway? He's kind, patient, a total gentleman, he may be innocent in some things we do here, but he's always willing to learn.
"Shaya? Ano?"
It was a fact.
"Alam ko. Magingat kayo."
He's also wearing a denim jacket, somehow, it recalls when we first met. It was almost the same outfit, but the difference as of the moment, is that he's wearing a cap, and his hair was no longer long. And he's leaving.
He started walking towards the coastal rocks. I'm starting to withdraw my decisions about this occurrence. It just feels so wrong.... but it is the right thing to do.
"Are you just going to stand there, dumpling? The sun is already setting down." I blinked a few times then rushed to where he was standing.
No words emitted. Just the flicker in our eyes were enough to divulge what we truly feel.
"Shaya/Devin..." we said, in unison.
