After her last episode of violence, the boys had purchased a punching bag that hung in the spare room down from hers. The room was their workout space, full of equipment. But, today it was being used mainly by the woman herself. Swearing was audible all the way from downstairs, all five boys sharing a look over their phones or gaming controllers.

"Hijo de puta!" Zabdiel's eyes widened at the rather vulgar language his little sister was using. He knew she only said the f-word when she was insanely angry. Well, at least she had when they were younger. Lately, it'd become a part of her usual vocabulary. "Cabrón!" Another loud thud echoed through the house, Christopher checking his phone only to realize why she was so angry.

"I'm gonna check on her,"

Christopher took the stairs two at a time, everyone else nodding. To say it pissed him off that her ex would do such a thing, might be the understatement of the century. When he opened the door to the spare room his breath caught in his throat. She had her hair pinned up in a ponytail and fabric wrapped around her knuckles. In nothing but a sports bra, sneakers, and leggings he'd never seen someone so beautiful. The sweat clinging to her skin didn't matter, it only added to her goddess-like aura.

"Ass," Zoe took one misplaced swing at the bag, a faint crack echoing through the room. "Son of a-" Cradling her hand against her chest, she ripped out her headphones and slammed them on the counter. She looked up to see Christopher standing there, body flooding with embarrassment. "Sorry, was I too loud?" He crossed the room, gingerly taking her injured hand in his.
