Zobeida De Jesus was the 20-year-old sister of Zabdiel, a member of CNCO. She was by no means riding her brother's coattails, already a successful actress in a tv show called 'Shadowhunters'. This firey, headstrong, Latina moves to Ecuador with the...
Zoe squeezed into a tiny red dress that flared out just above the knee, skintight material clinging to each of her curves. Luckily, she hadn't started to show yet and still had a relatively flat stomach. She was forced to wear a pair of black strappy heels, which made both her and the three people that knew a little nervous. But, she couldn't wear flats on stage for an unknown reason that pissed her off. Nonetheless, she'd practiced her dance constantly with the help of Erick to figure out the safest way to do it.
"Si, one second." Edith carefully gripped the silver zipper, pulling it up over her slightly fuller backside. "There you are," She produced Zoe's red lip stain from one of her pockets, handing it over for use. Zoe hummed her thanks, spreading the velvety substance across her lips while using her phone camera as a mirror. "Perfect, you look amazing." Jade entered the room, nodding in agreement.
"Gracias, mi amor's."
"Hey, I thought I was your love?" Christopher's voice carried down the hallway as he walked to her dressing room, opening the door without knocking. Zoe looked up as he entered, smiling brightly. She rolled her eyes playfully, the weight of her unspoken secret still weighing heavily in the back of her mind. "You look beautiful, mi amor." He crossed over to her in two long strides, cupping the side of her face in his hands. "Ready?"
Zoe nodded, following him backstage where the rest of the group was. "Well," Tonight, all of them were performing live at the Latin American Music Awards, including Zoe. She'd be joining them on stage for the first time since she collapsed and found out she a little over two-months pregnant. "Let's do this," Zabdiel stared at his sister for a second longer than usual, analyzing whether or not she was ready. He was silenced with a single look from Zoe as she walked past him, somehow finding her place on stage despite having no lights.
Christopher stood in front of Zoe, just as other girls did to the rest of the boys. As the instrumental for Ya Tu Sabes started in, the girls dragged their hands across the boys' bodies. Zoe and Christopher locked hands, staring intensely at one another as the lower half of their extremities moved in complete sync. She focused on a single spot in front of her as he spun her in a circle, something she'd practiced due to her rather queasy stomach. Zoe was flung into Erick's arms, his eyes begging the question as to whether or not she was okay.
She sent him out a short nod, thankful for the fact the act was only three minutes long. Zoe moved on to dance in the center of the boys, singing backup for them. Her arm hooked around Christopher's neck, his hands sliding down her waist. Christopher gripped her chin as she pulled away from him, singing directly into her face. Zoe's hand rest on his waist, the crowd hollering over their close proximity.
Zoe danced out of his grip, moving with one of the male extras. She didn't miss the way Christopher glanced behind him to give the duo a once over, and this time neither did her brother. Zabdiel's eyebrows drew together in confusion, almost messing up his next dance step. Zoe flashed Christopher a tiny smile, carefully jerking her chin in the direction of the crowd. Christopher rolled his eyes playfully, looking back at their fans. Zabdiel frowned, not a fan of the following flirty wink when Zoe slid her fingertips across Christopher's chest in passing.
Five shows, five shows left.
That was all there was until the tour was over and Zabdiel found out about the couple. It was all Zoe could think about as she moved across the stage, every so often glancing at her beanie-wearing boyfriend. Christopher looked whenever she wasn't paying attention, eyeing her from head to toe. Very few people noticed it, but Zabdiel was one of the lucky few. As the song came to a close and the lights dimmed, everyone made their way off of the stage. Zoe wandered back into the dressing room, figuring the boys would all be preoccupied with their girlfriends.
"Amor?" Christopher popped his head inside the room, a glowing smile on his face. "You were amazing out there," He slid in, closing the door behind him. Zoe hummed gratefully, wandering over to him. Her arms slipped around his torso, resting her head right over the diamond tattoo hidden by his stage outfit. "Are you okay, Princesa?" Christopher slid his hands up and down her back in slow gentle motions, trying his best to soothe her. "Zobeida, mi amor, what's wrong?" Zoe lifted her head off of his chest, knowing how easy it would be to simply spill what the problem was.
"I just miss being able to hold you, that's all." Zoe smiled out of false reassurance, Christopher leaning down to rest his forehead against hers. He smiled softly, bringing his hand up to cup her cheek. "I love you, mi Vida." She whispered, brushing her nose against his. Christopher picked her up by her hips, setting her down on the makeup counter in front of him. "I love you too, mi amor. So, so much," He finally connected their lips, moving against one another in a slow passionate kiss that left their senses so dulled that they didn't hear the door open. Just like they didn't hear someone enter the room until it was too late.
"What the fuck?"
