Me Necesita

They'd been looking forward to this music video for months now. CNCO and PRETTYMUCH had gotten together to write a song, Me Necesita around six months back. Everyone got along really well, and Zoe got to watch ten very attractive guys play soccer. All in all, it was a win-win for each person present. Zoe was the only girl who was able to attend, so she'd earned the role of being their referee.

"You look good in that jersey, Ma."

Nick winked, teasing Zoe on his way past her. She flushed a pale shade of pink, fiddling with one of the curls that'd fallen out of her messy bun. Zoe wore a black tight-fitting jersey and a pair of matching spandex shorts that showed off her legs. She'd played soccer in high school, so when she decided to kick a ball up in the air with her heel, muscle memory kicked in. Eyes tracked her everywhere she went, especially Christopher's and Nick's. The former really wasn't too happy about the latter flirting with his secret girlfriend in front of him.

"Did you play?" Zoe rose her head to find Nick standing there, a kind yet seductive smile on his face. "Yeah, in high school. I actually had a scholarship for the first two years of college, but I had to quit when Shadowhunters blew up." She smiled tiredly, gently kicking the ball in his direction. He stopped the object with his foot, awkwardly tapping it back toward her. Zoe giggled silently, unaware of Christopher's presence several feet away.

Christopher watched them interact with a small fire burning inside his chest. The green-eyed monster was alive and well today, thriving more than ever. His glare could've cut through steel, directed toward Nick. The New Jersey native had noticed the looks Christopher was giving him around three hours ago when they'd first met and he kissed the back of Zoe's hand. Each of the PRETTYMUCH boys found Zoe attractive, but they weren't as open about it as Nick was.

Nick picked up the ball and held it under one arm, stepping much closer to Zoe than he was originally. "I'm fairly positive your boyfriends about to kill me," He leaned in to whisper, her body not moving the fraction of an inch. Zoe's lips twitched upward in surprise, heart racing over the thought of yet another person knowing they were together. "Don't worry, Ma. I'll keep your secret," Nick winked, placing the ball in Zoe's hands. Christopher clenched his jaw from his circle with Richard, Erick, Edwin, and Austin.

"Down, boy." Richard teased, having caught Christopher in the act. If looks could kill, Nick would've been six-feet under the earth right now. Edwin and Austin had caught on earlier in the day too, chuckling at their new friend. "Chill, bro. It's time to film," Christopher swallowed thickly, Nick brushing up against Zoe on his way to the field. She bounced over to the group, a small whistle around her neck.

Zoe stood at the end of the line, two rows of boys on either side in front of her. Christopher was thankful for the fact he was standing before Edwin and not Nick, for the handshake might not have gone as well. Placing the whistle between her lips, Zoe made eye contact with each boy and smirked. Letting out one short huff, Zoe threw the ball up into the air and jumped back to give them space.

Every time Christopher was pulled into the air by a harness, her heart ceased to beat. She watched with parted lips and a panicked feeling until he was back on the ground again. Sure, it made her nervous when each boy did it, including the PRETTYMUCH boys. And yeah, she'd done it before herself, a lot, actually, which was part of the reason it made her ridiculously nervous. She knew just how dangerous stunts could be, even simple ones like the boys were doing.

"Shit!" Christopher fumbled in his flip, Zoe shooting up out of her seat on the bench. Her chest rose and fell rapidly once she realized he was okay, shooting him a glare. "I'm okay, just got tangled." He assured everyone, but mostly her. Zoe inhaled a deep breath, thankful they were currently filming the last few shots they needed. She walked back toward their stuff, grabbing bottled water just as their director yelled cut. Everyone milled around for a little while, chatting openly about anything they could think of.

"Well, I think it's time for us to go. We have a flight to catch early tomorrow morning," Brandon spoke up eventually, giving each of their new friends a hug, including Zoe. The rest of the boys did the same, Nick going last. He walked up to Zoe with a smirk, Christopher's body going rigid. "It was nice meeting you, Ma." Nick tugged her into a bear hug, pecking her cheek. It took everything in Christopher not to launch himself at the boy. "And uh, here's this." He slid a small piece of paper in her hands. "We're all on there, even though the boys already have our numbers." Nick paused once more, Christopher anxiously awaiting his next sentence.

"Or, you could use it if things don't work out. Whichever comes first,"

A/N - So Austin just had a little boy named Theo with his girlfriend, Ansley! Congratulations, guys! Now stop making me want children. I don't even have a boyfriend.

Or girlfriend.

Basically, I'm gonna be alone forever.
