Zobeida De Jesus was the 20-year-old sister of Zabdiel, a member of CNCO. She was by no means riding her brother's coattails, already a successful actress in a tv show called 'Shadowhunters'. This firey, headstrong, Latina moves to Ecuador with the...
Zoe stepped off the dock onto the mainland with her bookbag strapped to her back. Christopher led the way, followed by Zabdiel and Richard, which left her with Erick and Joel. She had one arm around each of them, trying not to trip them all on their way to the car. Joel helped her into the back, sliding in beside her. Christopher drove them home with the music blasting, talking animatedly to Zabdiel.
"Can I use you like a pillow?" Joel grinned cheekily at Zoe, receiving a small chuckle. She nodded once, motioning to her shoulder. He did so, using his jacket to cover them like a blanket. "Thanks, Bonita." Zoe subconsciously brought her hand up to play with his hair, earning a tiny sigh from the small boy. Suddenly the car lurched out of nowhere, sending Joel halfway out of his seat. "What the fuck, dude?" Joel chastised Christopher, the latter hiding a grin.
"Sorry, I thought I saw an animal."

It had been a week. Seven whole-ass days of Zoe ignoring Christopher. Zabdiel had simply assumed it was that time of the month for her seeing as the duo were almost always hanging out anymore. She kept her door locked, her bar stocked, and her phone blocked. Zoe had been allowing herself a week to sulk and then at which point she would drag her ass from the room and put on a fake smile.
"Here we go," Zoe mumbled under her breath, opening her bedroom door at two AM. She almost ran flush into another body, an unfamiliar girl. "I'm sorry, who are you?" The blonde was scantily clad with a fake chest spilling from her top. Smeared pink lipstick and messy hair made it very clear what she had been doing a few minutes prior. But, the boys all had girlfriends and they weren't the type to cheat. Joel wasn't a one night kind of guy so who-
Just as she was beginning to put those extremely painful puzzle pieces together, the door across from hers opened. "You left your phone-" Christopher stepped out into the hallway, shirtless with a forming hickey. Zoe's heart plummeted to the ground, the boy finally noticing she was there. His mouth formed a circle, watching the girl he clearly had just hurt. The blonde took her phone with a roll of her eyes, mumbling under her breath as she went. Christopher stepped forward, trying to explain himself. "Princesa-"
"Fuck off, Velez." She tried to slam her bedroom door, his palm slamming against the wood. "What do you want? To tell me how she was? I don't give a damn, okay?" He'd never seen Zoe as angry as she was, the Latin blood in her veins boiling. Her arms waved recklessly, standing just a few inches away from him. Christopher was starting to get pissed with each syllable she spoke. "Figures that as soon as I show any interest in you you go back to being a manwho-"
"That's enough, Zobeida." Christopher slammed the door shut behind him, forcing Zoe further into the room. He'd gotten the element of surprise by using her first name, something he rarely did. "You don't get to call me a whore when you're all over Joel and every other guy," She flinched at his tone, looking at him in disgust.
"Joel's like my little brother, and as for any other guy, I don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Because for the past eight months the only guy I've even looked at is you," Zoe's chest rose and fell rapidly, too hurt to even look straight. Christopher stared silently, now realizing how badly he'd hurt her. She turned around so her back was facing him, trying not to cry.
"Tell me this isn't because of what Zabdiel said," He stayed quiet, her body slowly turning back to face him. "And tell me you didn't fuck another girl while I was in here telling myself that you're a good guy who's just a natural flirt." That's right, she'd been planning on forgiving him. After all, they hadn't really been together. But sleeping with another girl was a different story to her entirely. "Better yet, tell me that I didn't fall for another version of my ex."
Christopher didn't say a word, causing her to inhale sharply before she could break down. "I'm going to ask you one time and one time only to leave my room before I call the boys up here." Part of her wanted him to stay, to grab her and tell her that she was wrong. Then she thought about the girl in the hallway and felt sick to her stomach, praying he would walk out that door. Somehow it only made her hurt worse when she heard her bedroom door open and close, his warm presence gone.
"Oh," Zoe crumpled to the floor like a cheap piece of paper. Her feet underneath her and her weight supported against the wall. Saltwater soaked the front of her shirt, slowly inching for her phone sitting on her nightstand. She dialed urgently, managing to get out a clear sentence with much difficulty. Her bedroom door opened once again a few minutes later, a warm body sliding beside her. "It hurts,"
"I know it does," Richard pulled her into his embrace, Alyson standing in the doorway. She'd stayed overnight with her boyfriend and came up to comfort their mutual best friend. It didn't bother any of the girls how close Zoe was with their boyfriends. "Do you want someone to stay with you tonight?" Zoe thought it over for a second, opening her mouth to ask for her best friend. "Aly, can you go get him?" Alyson slipped out of the room, returning soon after with a boy behind her.
Erick took one look at Zoe before he grabbed all the blankets and pillows off of her bed. Laying them on the floor in a makeshift bed, he signaled that everyone else could leave. "Come here, Pendejo." Zoe scooted into Erick's embrace, resting her head on his chest. He didn't care about the tears hitting his shirt, Erick just wanted to be there for his friend. "I'm here,"
