"¡Bajar!"
Zoe scolded them from the ground, knowing one of them was bound to get hurt. Erick was walking along a branch as if he was Tarzan. Christopher was clinging to a limb upside down, resembling a koala bear with a strange likeness. Don't get her wrong, Zoe was all for climbing trees and having fun, but this particular tree looked like it was going to fall over at any given second.
"Come on, Princesa. You need to see the view up here," Christopher pleaded, dropping down onto the grass. Zoe glanced at Erick, who was hidden among the tops of the tree, before shrugging off her leather jacket to join their belongings. "Here," His hands grasped her hips before she could even gasp, lifting her onto a branch in one swift movement. Shakily standing, Zoe was glad she'd chosen to wear sneakers today. But, she wasn't too fond of the tree bark scratching her barely clothed legs.
"Careful," Zoe stared down at Christopher, the boy pulling himself up next to her. "We can't have our Princesa hurting herself," He teased with a grin, noting how wide her eyes were at this height. "I was right," She hummed in confusion, cocking her head to the side. "The view is even more beautiful with you up here," Christopher brushed his finger along her cheek, a cackle from overhead interrupting them.
