It sounded weird to admit aloud, but the fact that Zoe didn't get frostbite pleasantly surprised Christopher. Mostly because it was extremely common for people to get it when they weren't from Ecuador. But, it seemed to mean something more to him when she woke up perfectly fine the next day. It felt as if the world was confirming that there was a chance for Zoe and Christopher to have a family together in Ecuador. He'd always wanted to raise his kids in his home country for at least part of the time.

Zoe and Christopher however still hadn't said anything about children to one another.

"Bebé, do you know where my suitcase is?" She wondered aloud, knowing that it was just the two of them at home since everyone else had left on their vacations. A few seconds later he slipped into the room with the biggest suitcase she'd ever seen. "What on earth?" Zoe giggled, Christopher setting the container on her bed.

"I figured we could share this one if you wanted to," Christopher scratched the back of his neck nervously, something she found cute. Zoe smiled without answering, taking the shirt in her hands and placing it inside of the case. "Besides, I'm sure we'll need the spare to bring back gifts." His family didn't know they were together, but his mom certainly suspected it. So she'd been pestering him constantly to find out what Zoe liked so they could get her something for Christmas.

Zoe hadn't told him, but she had already bought gifts for every member of his family. From his cousins to his parents, she made sure not to leave anyone out. The items would arrive on Christmas eve to his parents' house, which was also where they were staying.

"Hell, we might as well just pack all of your clothes because that's basically all I wear anyway." She teased truthfully, slipping in some bras and underwear. He shrugged, walking across the hall to grab a couple more clothing items. Zoe opened up her top dresser drawer and carelessly dug around without thinking. She was too busy focusing on packing to remember what items she had on full display. Until, of course, her boyfriend saw them.

"Carajo," Zoe whipped her gaze up from her bag to Christopher, eyes widening in horror. There he stood before her dresser with a blindfold in one hand and a pair of handcuffs in the other. And they weren't flimsy fuzzy handcuffs, either. But a sturdy red pair that were impossible to escape without a key. The blindfold was just a thick strip of red silk. "Uh, what are these?"

Christopher was dying from the effort it was taking not to smirk. Zoe, on the other hand, wished she was dead. "Um, I, uh-" She stuttered, unsure of how he was taking this newfound information. "I haven't used them if that's what you're wondering." He sauntered up to her, tossing the handcuffs and blindfold onto the bed.

"Hmm, and why not?" She could feel his breath against her cheek, his intoxicating scent taking over. Christopher roughly grabbed her hips, pushing her back against the wall. Zoe wasn't sure what she'd expected his response to be, but this wasn't it. "I believe Papi asked you a question, Mamita." He growled, nose brushing against her jawline. She gasped quietly, steadying herself against the drywall.

"Because nobody ever made me want to," Zoe admitted, her lips an inch away from his. "Nobody ever touched me, kissed me, pleased me as you do." Christopher felt his mouth begin to salivate, pressing her against the wall even further. He lazily drug his gaze up and down her body, cupping her cheek with one hand. She could feel her body shaking in anticipation, his hands skimming her thighs.

A faint ringing interrupted their moment, Christopher glowering at the ceiling. "It's our alarm," He whined, slipping his phone into his back pocket. "Remind me why we gave them a set time that we would be there?" She gave a tiny laugh, grabbing the last few things she needed. Christopher secretly picked up the handcuffs and blindfold, slipping them into a pocket of his duffle bag. "I won't be forgetting this, Princesa."

Christopher smirked at her, examining how flustered he made her. "I would hope not," She muttered, zipping her backpack. Zoe gave her room a once-over and grabbed her stuff, Christopher grabbing the suitcase before she could. "We can stop at Chipotle for dinner if you want," He grinned happily, snatching another bag out of her arms. "I can carry stuff too, you know."

"Just because you can doesn't mean I'm going to let you," He retorted, leading them out into the garage. Once their car was filled with their belongings, they locked up the house. "The usual?" Christopher piped up at the Chipotle drive-thru, his hand resting on her thigh. She always sat in the middle whenever they rode alone. "Okay, you can pick out some music." The ride was supposed to be around four hours long.

"Gracias, niño bonito." Zoe flashed him a smile, taking the paper bag from his hands. Their drinks sat before her knees in a cupholder, making it rather distracting whenever he reached to take a sip. "Ready to be back home?" She questioned through a mouthful of burrito, his lips twitching in amusement.

Christopher looked her over with hidden thoughts, squeezing her thigh. "Very," He traced her side profile with his eyes when she looked outside. "PRETTYMUCH again, really?" One brow quirked up at her, Zoe smiled innocently and swayed from side to side. Open Arms was one of her favorite songs, something he'd picked up on after time. He'd taken the liberty of learning it a while back, opening his mouth to sing a line on time. "When you're ready,"

She snapped her head back to look at him, eyes lighting up. "Girl, you could tear me apart." Christopher serenaded her, tilting her chin up. "But I can't help it, I'm waitin' here with open arms. So when you're ready, you know where to find me." Zoe was in complete awe that he'd listened to the song, let alone learn it. "Got that key to your heart," Damn right, you do. "Scrape my knees on the pavement, here with open arms. So when you're ready, you know where to find me."

"You know where to find me,"
