Zobeida De Jesus was the 20-year-old sister of Zabdiel, a member of CNCO. She was by no means riding her brother's coattails, already a successful actress in a tv show called 'Shadowhunters'. This firey, headstrong, Latina moves to Ecuador with the...
She bounced her right knee up and down at a rapid pace, trying to listen to Jade's soothing tone. It was pathetic in her mind how jealous she felt over some girl on Christopher's lap even if it was simply for a music video. It didn't help that he'd written the song loosely based on their relationship. The sight killed her every time it happened, watching him pretend to be with another girl. Zabdiel had put his foot down a few videos ago, saying he was uncomfortable with his sister and his best friend acting like they were together.
They could only imagine how he'd react when he found out it was real.
Christopher knew it upset Zoe to see someone else all over him. It was one of the reasons he never let the directors write a kiss on his part into any video he was in. Zabdiel had questioned him about it at first, but he was quick to shut him down. Some of the group found Zoe's jealousy to be a little excessive, but Christopher didn't think that at all. Zoe had every right to be suspicious after everything David had put her through. Zoe had never acknowledged that was the reason out loud, but he knew it. So, whenever he had to do a video he tried to make it as painless as possible for her.
"I am breathing, bitch. Otherwise, I'd be unconscious," To anyone else, it might seem rude to call your friend a bitch, but that was just the way the entire group interacted with one another. The British girl snorted, smacking Zoe on her shoulder. "Sorry, I just can't watch it, you know?" Jade did in fact know, she wasn't fond of her fiance kissing another girl, none of the girls were. But, she did it in her videos and knew he was a completely faithful man so she never got too worked up over it. "Jesus, I'm pathetic,"
"Amor," Zoe rose her gaze up from the floor, finding Christopher standing in the doorway of the makeup trailer. "Jade, can we have a moment?" Jade nodded once, squeezing her friend's shoulder on the way out. Christopher shut the door behind her, walking back to crouch down in front of Zoe. "You're anything but pathetic, Princesa." His hands splayed out on her thighs, gently clamping down on the soft flesh as he pushed himself into a standing position. "David hurt you, that feeling doesn't go away overnight."
He knew. Zoe sucked in a sharp breath, her face turning red. "I know you're not David, Christopher. I do, but I just-" Words failed Zoe, her mouth opening and closing when nothing came out. She screwed her eyes shut, embarrassed at the admission. Christopher gripped her chin between his thumb and his first two fingers, tilting her head up to look him in the eyes. "Lo siento," Zoe apologized, huffing out a fake laugh.
"You have nothing to be sorry for, mi amor." Christopher tugged her out of the chair and into his embrace, resting his head on top of hers. Zoe tucked her chin to his chest, inhaling the fabric softener on his shirt. "Te amo, mi Princesa." The tips of his fingers ran up and down her back in soothing lines, leaving a trail of heat in their wake. "And your little green-eyed monster," He teased, squeezing her side in an effort to make her laugh. She giggled when his fingers dug into her sides, squirming out of his embrace.
"Christopher!" She gasped in between laughs, her tiny ineffectual fists smacking him in the chest. Christopher joined in with his infectious giggle that she found incredibly adorable, his hands stilling on her sides. Zoe's lips had grown into a bright and honest smile, gazing up at him adoringly. "I love you too, mi Vida. Thank you for being patient with me," He clicked his tongue in a disapproving manner, gripping the side of her face once more.
"That's my job, mi amor. I wouldn't have it any other way," He craned his neck down at an uncomfortable angle, but made it worth it by connecting their lips. Christopher moved with expertise, having memorized every single square inch of her body just like she'd done to him. Zoe pulled back with a pleased sigh, resting her head on his chest. "You're perfect to me, Zobeida. And, you put up with my jealousy, which I've been told is no easy task." She laughed wholeheartedly, nodding her head when she straightened back out.
Zoe slipped out of his embrace, wandering over to the area where she'd left her shoes. Christopher kneeled down in front of her before she could slip them on herself, carefully prying the sneakers from her hands. He laced them back up, tying a pretty bow on top of each one. She grinned down at the sight, daydreaming about how he'd be with a child. Christopher stood back up, pulling her with him. Zoe pecked him one last time before walking over to the door, pausing in the frame to add one last thing to Christopher.
"Just so you know if she tries to kiss you again I'm gonna knock her teeth out."
