I have to admit, I miss it.

But, watching it with the love of my life is pretty great too.

"I promise when everything's over we can play football,"

Christopher swore to her, searching through his side of the dresser. "Where is it?" He grumbled, moving over to look through the closet. Zoe watched him in confusion from the bed, wearing a pair of her old navy soccer shorts that she was surprised still fit. A black camisole was stretched over her stomach, hair braided into two dutch braids down her back. "Oh, Dios mío- aha!" Christopher finally found what he was looking for, emerging from the closet with the item in his hands. "Here, I was wondering if you wanted to wear this." A football jersey with his name on it was clutched between his hands, a nervous cheesy smile on his face.

Zoe grinned, crawling over to him on her knees. She placed her hands on his chest, leaning in to peck his lips. "I'd love to wear it," Christopher beamed with happiness, gently placing the white and navy material over her head. The mesh material ended a little bit above mid-thigh due to the fact her belly pulled everything up higher. "Mmm, surprisingly comfortable." She mused, looking up to catch Christopher staring at her adoringly. "What?" Zoe squirmed, wondering if she looked bad in it. "Do I look weird?"

"You look hot, amor," He blurted, tugging her into a kiss by the front of the jersey. Christopher nibbled on her bottom lip, groaning when a timer went off in the kitchen. "The food must be ready," Zoe climbed from their bed, padding down the hallway with him trailing right behind her. He opened up the oven pulling out a tray of baked potato skins that he'd put together. She grabbed two glasses, filling them with different soda's.

"Mi Vida, do you know how to pull the recording up?" She placed their drinks on the coffee table where she'd already put out some other snacks. Christopher nodded, sitting down beside her on the couch. He reached for the remote, flicking through until he settled on the correct taping. "Ready?" Zoe grinned, seeing the childlike joy written all over his face. Christopher nodded vigorously, pulling her onto his lap. "I'm gonna hurt your legs, Christopher," She giggled, knowing she was heavier now with the baby.

Christopher glared directly at her, pausing the game without looking away. "Suficiente," Enough. "You're absolutely perfect," He kissed her cheek in between each sentence, cupping the side of her face. "I love everything about you, even when we argue." Zoe listened, trying desperately to accept his words as the truth. "Zobeida Mariana De Jesus, look at me right now." She did as he commanded, looking him right in the eyes.

"I didn't fall for you because you were what people call thin. I fell for you because you're the most amazing person I've ever met in my entire life," He stroked her cheek, not letting her move. "You're kind, compassionate, loving, and absolutely beautiful." Christopher spilled with words he'd thought a million times but never said. "The way you took on the responsibility of taking care of not five, but ten guys. Not to mention nine girls, a niece, and now a daughter. You amaze me, Zobeida." He stared into her eyes, knowing he was finally getting through to her by the tears she held.

But he didn't stop there.

"I want to be with you for the rest of my life," Zoe couldn't hold back the tear that cascaded down her cheek, Christopher instantly wiping it away with his thumb. "Zobeida, you're the first woman and the only woman I've ever loved." She inhaled sharply, a little surprised by his confession. "You're the only woman I will ever love, apart from our little girl." Christopher didn't stop, already on a roll. "I don't care what you look like, you're already the most beautiful girl in the world to me."

A sly smile crossed Zoe's lips, instantly recognizing the last sentence. "Did you just quote Spencer Reid?" He grinned, knowing she was going to catch the reference. "I love you even more now," Zoe giggled, sobering up rather quickly when she brushed away her tears that had yet to fall. "I'm sorry that I'm such a mess, I just feel like you can do so much better than me." Christopher clicked his tongue in disapproval, glancing at the jersey she was wearing.

"Zobeida, you're it for me. You're everything I've ever wanted and more," Christopher brought her down for a kiss by grabbing the back of her neck. He could taste the saltwater of her tears on her lips, determined to make them go away. "I want to marry you, have kids with you. I intend to grow old with you, mi amor. Because when I say forever, I mean it." Zoe choked on a soft sob, her head falling into the crook of his neck.

He rubbed his hands up and down her back, Zoe leaning back to look at him. "Forever? That sounds nice," She kissed him once more, for once actually feeling worthy of someone and something. "Now that I've had my daily scheduled breakdown," They laughed, Zoe handing him the remote from the table. "Let's watch the game?" Christopher pressed the play button but yanked her down for one last kiss, every emotion in their bodies passing between one another. Zoe tugged on the ends of his hair, straddling his waist. She pulled back for a short gust of air, looking at him with dark eyes.

"I think you're gonna need to pause the game again,"

"Dios, I love these pregnancy hormones."

"What makes you think these hormones aren't just from having you as my boyfriend?"
